"Falling rocks? Are you seeing things? Or was that just a... joke?" Yosben then realizes that it may have something do do with the mirrors. He casts dancing lights and attempt to shine them into the mirrors, looking for some kind of reaction.
"I have to agree with you on this one. That was a mistake on my part." He grins, as always, "Maybe you lead this one? Someone other than me or Gwen? Me and her are bound to make mistakes. Well, we all are, some of us more than others."
You head back and proceed to walk up the other set of stony steps onto a ledge. Suddenly as you head up the ledge, a voice from the darkness whispers with the dry rattle of death and malice. “By mistake or by foolishness, you have come too far. Your soul will be used to feed my endlessness.” Suddenly out of the darkness, two human skeletons move forward, armed and armored. Their ligaments and bones creak and twist in with unforgettable sounds.

It is now the Skeleton's turn! Skeleton 2: After being stabbed by Gwen in its necromantic force, as well as smitten with the power of holy light the skeleton cackles in fury. In a frenzy it stabs towards Gwen and she believes she is going to block it when she suddenly hears a terrible cackle from somewhere far off. It sends shivers down your spine, and yet all you heard was a faint murmur of it only for a second and nevertheless it sent you into an almost state of paralyzation. "The hero sought to save the world.
"If I keep trying, I'll be able to win," the hero thought.
But the harder the hero fought, the further the world seemed to tumble away.
Drowning in doubt, the hero could not even save themselves.
Hero, if you still believe in a brighter future, hold in your heart a thorn that can pierce all doubt."
With the final clatter you gather yourselves. You have just completed your first fight of this quest, but you're quite sure there will be plenty more to come. Even with the lich's defenses concerned with the fighting far above you (which you can still here from the thunderous explosions that rock the tower) there are many obstacles even in her cellar. Once again you take in the area before you (all of you have darkvision now, so nobody needs to hold torches, although be mindful that this means everything is lightly obscured so disadvantage on perception checks). You are currently either on top of, or looking at a ledge that seems to go to a blank wall, except for two somewhat wide passageways that lead out of this higher cavern. They both lead West, but one is on the north side of the room while the other is on the south side. The constant noise from the dripping water occupies your thoughts as you contemplate what to do next, both in your injured state, while also on the clock of however long the "Duchess of Rot" can be held off...
Gwen let me take care of those wounds for you. We need you on the front lines and you cannot be there looking like that. Craben casts Cure Wounds on Gwen. A bright white light in cases Craben's hands and he glides them over Gwen. Her wounds stitching up wherever the light touches. I say let's investigate both sides first before we decided which way to go. Yosben, don't you have any offensive cantrips. If not you can borrow my quarterstaff, I always have my spells. Also, don't worry about me I'll stay in the back.
Gwen stumbles for a second then leans against the wall. After a couple more seconds, "Should we go the other way?"

Seeing no reaction, Yosben says "Yes. Unless that one is locked as well." He waits for the others to exit the corridor, this time following behind.
I don't feel so good all of a sudden. Yeah let's try the other way but maybe we should investigate whatever we come across more closely next time.
"I have to agree with you on this one. That was a mistake on my part." He grins, as always, "Maybe you lead this one? Someone other than me or Gwen? Me and her are bound to make mistakes. Well, we all are, some of us more than others."
