OOC: Druid magic is also banned correct? Or is it just arcane which is banned?
Druidic magic is allowed but controlled everywhere outside of Foroais where druids are revered followers of Mielikki.
Magic isn't banned persay defensive magic is very much seen as bad when used outside the religious orders. All magic is controlled by the religious orders of the four sisters. Basically Talamh history is pockmarked by magic users seeking power that killed hundreds of thousands of people. Now the 'peacetime' the four sister goddess dominate society and focus their magics on peacekeeping, healing and nature. People still practice ALL magic just in private or risk the penalties. Let's say bards exist but are largely ignored. Their magic is kind of seen as directly inspired by the goddesses.
Erevan begins sampling some items on the table then selects a light meal and desert. "Your aunt is a fantastic cook, and must have worked furiously on this meal! May we meet her?"
He looks for a plate of food and finds a place to sit. He would try to sit alone if he is able to if not he just sits. Darik, pays close attenion to any advice the village folk have in hopes of trying to remember his past.
[There most be a bug I rolled 1d20+1 and it gave me a 32]
All the food is fresh, magically imbued, and unlike any you saw in town. NO ONE not a single villager invited is mentioning this either but greedily eating while the plates and platters seem to never empty!
Looking at Erevan seated across from her seat between her father and Aldaryn, still yet to speak, she smiles. "Forgive me," Brida says after wiping her mouth having eaten most of a chicken leg. "This," she gestures to the end of the table at the elbow of her father, "this is my aunt," she adds motioning to another human woman who looks as old as her father and very much like him too, you surmise they must be twins. "Vera," she then called out to her aunt who was talking to Saarebas at her end of the table.
A woman with greying ash blonde hair looks up smiling at Brida.
"They like the food," Brida adds as the table of villagers fall silent before erupting in laughter as people hold up cups or various forkfuls of food before going back to their plates.
OOC: G'nite guys, wow it got late fast. I'll be in and out tomorrow and hopefully they'll fix the bug blocking the site from my phone! Keep it up! It's been a GREAT first day!

Erevan compliments Vera on the meal, then quickly finishes his meal to find a place to play his lute, preferably in a low branch of a nearby tree. Having seen only a small part of the toil these people must have been experiencing with their hard work and spartan crop yield, he begins with a song of hope, loud enough to be heard but really only in the background, at a volume to encourage people who are listening to choose to continue their conversation with their fellows or to stop and listen as they choose. He smoothly transitions into songs of relaxation or merry making depending on how the mood of the crowd swings, he's playing the guests every bit as much as the instrument. Finally he'll end with a song that produces a satisfaction similar to a deep shoulder massage.
After the hearty feast and Erevan's fine playing you feel an odd sense of family, or kinship with these impossibly kind people. You return to the temple that night and although the road seems slightly more perilous only the sounds of distant howling makes the atmosphere tense. Your party returns with the villagers, looking better almost younger even, to Carrowkeel. They peel off form behind the cart much like they joined you on the road to the Tierney farm. Now that you're aware of them Erevan you noticed each house beside the door or on a random tree there are the carvings you saw at the Tierney's, wards against evil and promoting life. The night passes without harm not even a nightmare dares to haunt you. Waking in the morning you feel like you had the best night's sleep you've ever had. Brida rouses you from your slumber and begrudgingly you get up.

[Do we roll for the hero's feast?]
Before everyone wakes Darik would be up practicing his swordsmanship somewhere he is not a bother. He'd let Erevan know he would be stepping out. Do I see the dark elf anywhere as I train outside.
"Erevan, I'm stepping out. I'll be back before breakfeast."

Heroes feast: 19
Seeing Brida come to rouse the group, (Erevan was been awake for a few hours by then) Erevan plays a soft revelry on his flute then starts preparing his gear for the road. Will be visiting the kitchen as well.
DM note: It is just after dawn when Brida woke everyone up after her morning prayers and spell prep for the day.
Seeing Willow was not in her bed Brida is frantic to find the gnome! Looking around the temple as well as going outside she finds Darik practicing near Aldaryn forge as Aldaryn is busy crafting yet another set of farming implements. You and Aladryn as more alike than you know but you have found an unspoken kinship with the dark elf who also sticks out in the village of Carrowkeel like a sore thumb, obviously not as badly as a dragonborn but you're drawn to him just the same. He has not said a word to you but nodded as you approached. You looked at his crafts and see there is no weapon, no armor present but watching him for awhile you realize he probably make anything he set his mind to.
Darik: Brida approaches you asking about Willow her voice frantic. "Willow have you seen her? She's not in her bed?!" But Aldaryn however having been up much of the night watchful of the temple signals for her to come close to him. Placing a hand on her shoulder they lean their heads closer together but not touching. They stare at one another mindful you are near but then relief washes over Brida's face! Seemingly without words you realize Aldaryn has explained something to Brida who turns to you again her expression softer now. "Darik...I...I trust you...you slept well?" She asks nervously as she realizes you are looking at her and Aldaryn curiously!

Willow: You find the tracks of a pack of dire wolves, you also find human footprints not too far by but no sign of a struggle of any kind. (Did Willow eat the feast?)
Darik: You walk way from the friends back towards the temple but Brida catches up just as both of you bump into Willow.
After saying good morning to people going in and out of the temple you return to the dormitory where Brida helps you pack your gear before she takes the party into the kitchens were another hearty, mundane, meal is prepared. Erevan is already there chatting cheerily to the villagers in the dinning area with a bowl of porridge that's being feed to nearly twenty other people in the room most gathered around the petite elven bard. Although you recognize some as the villagers from the square the night before curiously there is no one from Tierney's feast from the night before in the temple kitchens or dining area save the party.
As you all gather at a table to eat breakfast or just to hang about Sir Leoric Ballen enters the dinning area and all murmurs of the villagers cease. He is coming straight at the party, he has a satchel on his shoulder and looks just as pleased to see you as ever. {Sarcasm? Why yes...}

Saarebas spent most of the night eating drinking and being merry. When the music started he was quick to start singing sea shanties. He woke up with a slight hangover but is ready to get the day started and continue this quest.
Willow: {Please roll 2d10 and add to your temporary hit points for 24 you have advantage of wisdom saving throws and can not be poisoned or frightened.} Brida addresses Willow's concerns of dire wolves but does not look concerned. She then explains there are wild folk in the small sparse forest around Carrowkeel and the surrounding villages outside of Feirm but they tend to keep to themselves. They often use the big beasts as companions, guards, and scouts.
Leoric waits for Brida to stand from the group and although she greets her mentor happily the old elf still is unamused with her choosing of you as her companions for such a task as this.
"Take this and may Chauntea and her grace lead you there as well as back again without harm. No go before you waste any more of the morning here," Leoric says with a hard tone thrusting the satchel into Brida's hands before looking over this motley crew one last time then leaving the dining area as quickly as he came.
OOC: For you Potterheads imagine an old elven Professor Snape as Leoric. LOL
Anyone want/need anything from the clerics at Carrowkeel before heading out? Questions? Checks?
OOC: Everyone make sure you add you extra hit points to your character if damage should happen I want everyone to have the benefits of the feast!! After everyone checks in after this post we'll 'get on the road' so to speak!!

Darik: "Brida do you have a map of the area like the one on the temple floor. One that has details of roads and paths."
Darik wants to see the route we are taking and plan accordingly. He always felt better with a plan he never really understood why though. Since his morning practice he's trying to remember.
Waiting for a good moment Willow shyly approaches Sir Leoric before he or they take their leave and offers him a small bundle of dandelions she picked while scouting this morning, and in a respectful voice says, "thank you m'lord for the hospitality of your beautiful and magnificent temple and for all your kindness and the kindness of the villagers, they are fortunate to have you lead them. I am sorry I don't have a sword to sell but if you like I can offer you my slightly worn dagger I have named Rust-tooth."
Leoric's cool demeanor doesn't change but takes your gift. Your party hears and sees your words/gesture this act makes Brida beam proudly at you while putting the satchel on her shoulder staring at her mentor for a reaction. Leoric doesn't linger leaving the dining area.

Saarebas just rolls his eyes at the High Priests comments. He'll roll his shoulders, followed by cracking his neck, finishing by bending all the way down at the knees and jumping back up.
"Come on let's go prove that old man wrong"
With that Sarrebas jogs to outside the temple, full of energy and just waiting to prove the High Priest Wrong.
