"I agree with Kurma, we should leave this thing alone. We should focus on other relic that could help us." Isabella cleans of her glasses. "Kurma does Moa know any other spirits that could help?"

Kurma focuses and ask mentally: "Moa, you may be right. We may leave this spirit here. Is there any spirit that could help our cause? At the end, we all want the same thing, get rid of this Acererak and his curse."

"I despise Wongo wholeheartedly. The rest of them will be helpful in the battles to come. The problem at hand is to find them."
"Kurma I have grown to trust you. I believe what you say. We can leave this spirit alone. I rarely have had interactions with spirits or dead that have not resulted in fighting or fleeing. I am clear though that these spirits are no gods of mine I trust his Moa as much as I trust this dead monkey. "
Issuing a command to the Alchemy Jug, Irommek takes a swig of ale and nods in agreement to Kurma. Passing the jug to Oniss, he mutters, "Not much to trust in this damned dungeon, that's for sure. But I do trust my hammer, your chromatic orbs and hope that some day we'll drink so much that we'll relieve ourselves on Acererak's dead-for-sure-this-time head!"
A rusting statue of a knight stands at the west end of this hall, gripping a large iron shield. Shards and flakes of rusted metal cover the floor around the statue's feet.
A skeleton-key stands there in the chamber, doing nothing.
Kurma looks in the room fro any hidden danger and whispers to the others "Let me do my trick again." The Tortle turns invisible and approaches the skeleton.

As Kurma steps invisibly into the new chamber, a force acts on each of his metal objects, seemingly generating from the statue. The pull is quite strong...
Brunella, seeing the other help themselves to ale, reaches to grab it herself. She then pauses. She remembers that people don't like it when she takes things. She stops her hand, and to everyone's surprise, remembers to ask permission first. "May I please have the ale?", she asks Irommek.
It's unclear to the dwarf if this is really Brunella or if she has been posessed by the Trickster god.
Kurma feels the pull and retreat silently ack to the group. "Something is wrong with this room, I could feel every metal part on me being pulled..... Maybe I, or someone else, could go back leaving all our metal and check the room ?"

Gertrude looks at Kurma slightly confused. "So this is similar to the chest Dragonbait just came from? I can go and investigate. And while I am at it, Dragonbait, please look at my weapons, I have a great sword, a short sword and a war hammer that you can help yourself too. A shield as well if you want!"
Gertrude removes her backpack and all her weapons beside her staff, then she slowly steps into the chamber, trying to understand the dangers in here.

OOC Kurma, a Strength check, please.

Kurma resists the pull. For now.
OOC if Kurma stays in here, the Strength check should be done at the start of each turn.

To Gertrude, the solution is simple. Smashing the statue would disabled the magical trap.
Gertrude steps forward, making a wide berth around the skeleton in the room, trying not to scare it.
Then she swings her new staff hard against the statue repeatedly.
Eventually, the statue gets smashed by the mighty staff combined with Gertrude's raw strength.
But the skeleton flees northward.
When the statue finally falls, Gertrude shouts: "Come in! The skeleton fled north! Bring my backpack and my weapons!"
From the corridor, Kurma applauds and cast Sacred Flame (60ft range) on the fleeing skeleton if he has the opportunity.
