OOC remember the CON save before the turn, otherwise, you need to avert the eyes (meaning disadvantage on attack rolls). Brunella still needs to do the CON save for the bodak withering gaze.
Brunella grimaces as the Bodak focuses its gaze on her. She tightens herself and attemps to shake off the effects. She summons her rage and attacks the injured Bodak with the full power of her dwarven might! Unfortunately, although her attack hits the Bodak square on, she doesn't quite coordinate her arms and her legs, and so her blow doesn't hit with the full force of her ability. Brunella shakes her head, grits her teeth, and tries again. Her second attack is more powerful but less precise. She growls in frustration!
bonus: rage action:
Brunella Wildheart makes a Constitution check!
1d20 (17) + 4 = 21
Brunella Wildheart attacks with a Flame Tongue Longsword 2H!
With the implosion, Irommek took in a deep breath. A horrible mistake. His stomach reeled from the stench of death and decay. Swallowing back the bile, he made his way over to the shadow of the remaining creature, swinging his hammer twice while holding up his shield and looking away from the Bodak. Feeling his frustration at being the cause of this mess, he digs deep and somehow finds the strength to keep swinging. Then, glancing over at Isabella and seeing that she was looking a little more green than the rest of the group, he channeled a little healing from his goddess in her direction.
OOC:
Attack twice with disadvantage, using action surge to attack again and then bonus action to cast Healing Word on Isabella.

The Death Gaze of the Bodak proves to be too strong for Inete. With the head seemingly to be about to explore, she manages to chant old words in Omuan, Inete evokes a ball of light and throws it toward the foul Bodak.

Gertrude has watched the others avert their eyes, they seem more protected from the bokak's stares. She averts her eyes, but then attacks with no regard for her Defense (reckless attack (adv), eyes averted (disadv) - so normal attack).
