As Rose heads for the north door, Grimm pauses at the sound and begins searching for possible trap doors, pulling aside the long patterned rug to see if there's anything beneath it.
Audin looks up from his book with extream reluctance to see the group already planning to move on. He grabs Arachnadia Arcane as well quickly and shoves both into his pack for latter study, casting a long regretful eye at the other books being left before joining Rose at the door.

Not really a rules lawyer, more like a rules paralegal.
Noticing Audin's pause, Grimm says, "Go ahead and grab a few more into your pack - I'm sure Rose won't mind - then go back her up at that door while I check under this rug and furniture for any trap doors. I'll be done in a few moments - just being paranoid, I guess."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
He gives Grimm a small and almost self conscious half smile “Don’t want to get too slowed down” he says stepping away from the shelf “but if we find ourselves leaving here at less than a run I want to come back and gather the rest. Be a shame to waste it all.......”
Seeming to snap back a little to reality at Grimm’s caution he checks the door for traps (or with that roll probably sorta stares at it.....) as he joins Rose.
Rose smirked. "If you find a copy of the Book of Vile Darkness you might want to leave that on the shelf, other than that go right ahead. If this place is heavily trapped we might be here a while."
Looking up from the rugs and furniture, Grimm retorts, "If that shelf contains the Book of Vile Darkness, two things: 1) grab it so that we can take it to Candlekeep so that the followers of Deneir can store it away safely, 2) we're not getting out of here alive."
I am sorry to say that I am unable to run the campaign. Again, sorry to those who were enjoying the campaign. I am very busy and have a hard time getting time to post on here.

Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.
Not a problem, kinda in the same boat with another game suspended as I try and get time for more than just the check in here. Thank you for making the go at it, had fun for the brief run!
JR and Rivina absolutely, real intermittent connection currently, work had me out of town so will be a delay to searching, but Audin is up for whatever is next and will gladly cary on with the current band, even if they say foolish things like don’t touch the book filled with knowledge just because it’s “evil” ;)

Rose snickered at Grimm's comeback. "A fair point, then let's hope we don't find such an infamous tome."

// oh thought it was just slow play - didn't realize it was over completely... no worries!
so Rivina and AN7, perhaps we can find another campaign for Grimm, Rose & Audin to join... seems like we can make for part of an interesting party. //

No problem, DL58, Real Life happens.
Leon, I'd be more than happy to try that if a campaign comes up.
