Ink reaches out with his ruby enhanced sword... as he does, Quill dives down at the water elemental, distracting it and [action]help[/help]ing Ink line up a shot... The blade frosts over and an ice knife shoots out towards the water elemental!

Just as it slips under the door Matrix reflexively fires at it again! The door now in his way he fires at the latch and tries to kick the door open.

Getting inside the house is a small matter now, as Matrix has destroyed the lock. Apparently, the heavy wooden door opens the reverse way, towards the outside, rather than into the interior of house. Pulling the door open, you are able to see a house full of ratty furniture; some covered in drop cloth, and other pieces splintered or damaged beyond use. There is some evidence of past squatters, but the house seems empty.
You don't see any immediate signs of the water elemental.
The elemental is struck with the energy from Don’s spell, and keeps fleeing.
