Ink and Crownsguard do a little bit more damage, and it seems like the creature really dislikes something about Ink's spell woven into the melee attack. The elemental takes an opportunistic swing at Ink as he runs away...
Attack: 17 Damage: 12
As he exits the building, Ink lays eyes on the aforementioned yakfolk taskmaster. As you watch, the slave driver catches one of the little halflings—it's easy for the powerful yakfolk to catch up with the short-legged little ones. The halfling flails as he is picked up, and then is summarily discarded, neck broken.
The yakfolk continues to chase after the little slaves in the terraced garden.
Watching the party start to split, Flint closes the distance with the elemental and casts [spell]green flame blade[/roll], green flames come to life on his hammer's head mixing with the orange flames from divine strike.
Attack: 25 Damage: 21
If advantage from quill's harassment is still available: 22
Don dashes toward the slaver in the field. Edgar flies ahead of him easily outpacing him. He yells out at the slaver in Giantish, "Stop you fool, do you know who sent us?" he then repeats it in common.
The wind howls over Don’s voice, although the Yakfolk slave driver does see Don coming and immediately changes direction, heading straight for him...
Meanwhile, Flint’s magically empowered hammer knocks out a huge chunk of earthen rock from the elemental’s midsection. As if in slow motion, the elemental collapses in a pile of stones onto the dirt floor of the hut.
The three elf slaves carefully emerge from their hiding space, looking hopeful but still frightened.
Matrix picks himself up off the floor after Flints healing word (that he gave in discord but should edit into his post) "you three, where are the other slaves kept? how many Yakfolk are there?" he quickly reloads his gun while asking.
"I don't know for sure," the female moon elf says. Her voice is measured and steady, though there is pain behind it. She and the other elves have taken some yakfolk-sized blankets from the big pile of baskets, and are now at least covered. "If I had to guess, I would say there are about twelve warriors. But I've never seen them all gathered in one place. You have to kill them all—they are more devious than they appear, and more powerful. I can explain later, but that gong must have been an alarm. You must hurry!"
She then looks hard into Matrix's eyes. "Don't. Trust. Anyone in the village," she beseeches. "Even if they aren't yakfolk. I promise I will explain, once you've saved the other slaves."
Outside, the yakfolk in the terraced garden area draws a longbow and arrow from his back, then aims at the approaching Dontontion!
As this happens, two more yakfolk come out of the barns on opposing sides of the chieftain's hut. Seeing you running, they pick their targets and loose arrows of their own...
Edgar and Quill will notice a gray-haired yakfolk striding with purpose across an animal pen. He is hidden from the view of the others by a hut, but looks as if he is heading straight for a door in that hut. He can't see the heroes, and neither can you see him from where you're at.
"Right, you guys ready? let's go" Matrix comments as the last bullet is loaded, before running out of the tent and past Ink saying, "there might be shapechangers, eyes open" he heads towards the bottom left yak and once in range fires a shot, testing his accuracy in the wind.
Don continues to jog toward the yak folk. The first bolt goes misses Don completely. The next one comes straight at his chest but he spins about and instead it grazes his chest. (Uncanny Dodge).
He lifts his hands and energy blasts forth as Edgar flies about the yak helping Don to steady his aim then flies back out of reach.
Crownsguard is going to scoop some of the broken earth elemental into his pouch then runs out the door!
He likely can’t get to anyone immediately, but he’ll level a Guiding Bolt at 1st level toward the Yakfolk nearest to he and Ink, Attack: 24 Damage: 17 radiant damage!

Ink hearing Quill hoot and picking up the direction she's flying, bolts towards the left side of the round hut that connects to the rectangular hut, as he gets close he disappears in a silvery mist (misty step)...
Quill hugs the top of round hut and gets in the face of the graying Yakfolk (help action) before continuing her movement just beyond its reach...
As the Yakfolk looks at the fleeing owl, a silver mist appears ten feet above the Yakfolk's head from which Ink appears and falls straight down a single scimitar leading the way with a booming blade!
After his attack, Ink pivots next to the Yakfolk, scimitars in hand.
// Scimitar Booming Blade Attack: 10 Slashing Damage: 8 and Thunder Damage: 5, plus 7 Thunder Damage if it willingly leaves its space.
Crownsguard is able to drop his shield just in time to fire off a guiding bolt—it strikes the yakfolk to the southwest, giving the next character advantage on their attack against that target.
But the yakfolk warriors continue their assault, dauntless in the face of danger. Crownsguard's target charges at his nearest enemy, which happens to be Crownsguard. He drops his bow and draws his greatsword, swinging with gusto at the construct.
As Don races towards the one in the garden, he met with arrows from that warrior, as well as the yakfolk to the northeast. They both fire their arrows at Don:
The rest of the halfling slaves, who were also in the garden, use this distraction to run off and hide. Meanwhile, the old yakfolk that Ink attacked responds surprisingly swiftly, for his age. His sword was already in hand, so taking it in both hands he swings at Ink...
Opening the door, Ink sees a terrified human male and female half-orc. Their threadbare rags hang from their malnourished bodies, and they cower behind a dairy churn and a small table. “Please help us!” The half-orc pleads.

As he finishes his sentence, Quill does a flyby of the Yakfolk (HELP), and then Ink charges in with three flashes of his blades!
The closest place for Don to try hiding is one of the houses, but there is nowhere in the immediate vicinity to hide. His yakfolk target takes the brunt of the force damage from his eldritch blast and sets himself to charge...
Crownsguard's opponent crosses blades with him, and though he towers over the construct, the yakfolk is barely a match in terms of raw power. The warrior is clearly outnumbered.
Meanwhile, the yakfolk attacking Ink is too slow, and the attacks from Ink's scimitars cut deep gashes. Bellowing with rage, the old yak-man tries to use his horns to shove Ink to the ground (Opposed Strength: 12).
