As Flint is casting his spell, Ink disrobes and tries to ring out most of the water from them. He uses his bedroll as a makeshift blanket for the time being, and, with climbing gear still on his feet, peeks into the hole the remorhaz came from to see if there is anything else of concern in there. He asks Don for help, commenting, "We should search where they came out of - if there are any other eggs in there still incubating, we should get rid of them before they hatch and terrorize the tribe."
The melted ice has re-frozen over the bodies of the young remorhazes, as if encasing them in tombs of their own.
The places from where they had originally broken out contain no signs of egg shells or incubation, suggesting that these weren’t hatchlings, but rather hibernating younglings. Their shallow beds were tunnels permafrost, shaped to conform to their bodies.
Ink puts on his now dry clothes and gathers his things. He waves at the tribe members and in very, very broken Uthgardt says, "Sorry about the mess. Good thing we killed those remorhaz for you though, right?"
Flint looks around at the Uthguardt, "let's get that shield an' get out of here." Flint sets about to do that the when the party is gathered on the ship he tells the captain "on ta th' temple o' Annam, mind ye don'arrive 'fore daybreak."
Once underway, flint casts speak with dead on the corpse we have been carrying with us. // what did we want to ask this guy? //
From out of the moonlight sky comes a fearsome shadow—dragon!
You barely have time to collect yourselves before it is upon you...
Anyone who rolled higher than the dragon's initiative (15) can act first. It is currently 59 feet above you, and diving! The lightning conditions are darkness, although you think you can ascertain the dragon's current position, from the outline that it creates against the stars (so you can target it).
