The Start of Tomb of Annihilation. Looking for a couple players to play in the game who don't have a lot of time on their hands, like me, so this works out great. Never done a Play by Post before, so this is new to me, but great also because i can play on the go (using my phone).
This is open to anyone, new to d&d or a veteran, so be kind to all please.
As far as character creation goes:
Anything Published by WotC is fair game
Standard array for abilities
if interested, please DM me, i'll be the Dungeon master, so no need to fear.
I'm a sales manager with an odd schedule, so I don't have a ton of time either. Very much interested in a ToA game.

Since 1995: AD&D 2nd Ed.; D&D 5e; Vampire: The Masquerade (and other Old-WoD titles); Rifts (and other Palladium RPGs); Star Wars (WEG); Magic: The Gathering; Old School Essentials; AOL Red Dragon Inn; Ultima Online; Dark Age of Camelot
Also totally interested in playing. I want to one day run ToA as a DM but that won't be for a looong time till my other campaigns end, so playing it before I read through the book will be fun.
Any limitations on character options or will anything published be available?
Joined with a level 3 Wizard (saw the poll results). Am flexible though and have a fighter concept ready to go if we wind up needing a meat shield.

From your character stable, click edit, then click class, then select the drop down menu and select 3. Fighters get to choose their martial archetype, which if you’re only using the basic rules is Champion.

If you still have room, I have a Cleric that can join your campaign. She's level 3 and a Tiefling. If that doesn't work, I can scrounge up something else.

Ooh, it looks like I've got the okay to join in too, so I'll work on building a character. Based on what the party's looking like so far, I'm thinking I'm gonna go aasimar warlock.

I'd be interested in this!
Tabaxi fighter(battelmaster)/rouge(swashbuckler) idea, but I need more info on stuff like books used, as well as stat generation.

Cool, cool. Not a clue what I'll play yet but I'll figure something out.
I joined the group, and made a rogue. If that's not ok, let me know, i'll do whatever is good for the group.
Here is my Charecter stats https://dicecloud.com/character/9CKNj2P7e7kDSFLxg/Shadowed-Fire-Star I assumed we were starting at Lv. 3, but I can change that.

Ok, level 3 rogue, got it.
My Fighter is level 1, how can I shift the levels around?

I would like to play I have a rogue but I can change her to a Ranger if that will be ok being a DROW Ranger
I don't mind switching up, too, if someone is just DYING to play a rogue. I'm good at other classes, too =P
I am planing that Fire will play like a fighter who is scarred of too many hits, with final build being fighter 6, rouge 4

How do we know if we have been selected to play?
