"Yeah, I hear something too. Does anyone have something I can write with, and on?." Alexander asked, keeping his eyes closed as he spoke. Voices speaking telepathically wasn't something that was usual, even for him, and he wanted to make sure he got every word.
If someone hands him something to write with, and on, he will begin writing what he hears in whatever language he is being spoken to in.
Xing suddenly snaps to attention, “Woah there pal.- No need for that.- Yer wastin’ good money!- We’re leaving now, sweety.- So I’d take another look- before I make it- that’s my problem.”

Hadran grabs a dinner knife from one of the tables. He approaches Alexander, and hands him the knife handle first.
"Carve it into the table, if there is no parchment. I would know what these new whisperings mean."

Alexander takes the knife from Hadran, and flips it over to begin carving on the counter. However, before he gets a chance to he hears Donar. Dropping the knife, he grabs the items from Donar and begins to write.
Alexander is able to write the entirety of what he heard.
The message says: In the days of summer where the moon swallows the sun and the day is most equal I shall arise and with me an army of the damned, you who hears this shall become my instrument the day of reckoning is nie.
"Hey guys, maybe you shouldn't leave yet." Alexander stated, dropping his writing utensil as he spoke. He didn't care what the barkeep had said, the others seemed interested in the Lord of Sands, and allies were something the Tiefling was currently short on.
"In the days of summer where the moon swallows the sun and the day is most equal I shall arise and with me an army of the damned, you who hears this shall become my instrument the day of reckoning is nie. " He said aloud, rereading the note he had made for himself. He glared at the barkeep for a moment, remembering how the stout man had said just a minute earlier how rumors were just that, rumors.
OOC: What language was it, for future reference? I assume Infernal, but want to make sure.
"I don't like the sound of that. I've also already kind of been chosen by another greater power so I don't really need a demon lord as well whispering in my head."
Xing hopes over and you see him actually put some effort into this next sentence, “Lean- into- the- prophecy.- Things- go- exactly- as- planned- if you- resist.” He then turns his head around to the barkeep and points to himself, “Hey look, a talking crow!- Is this so impossible?- Don’t be silly, dearie.”
Feng ducks (or is hit by) the bottle and almost instantly rises to his feet, smashing his fists down on his table in anger as he stares the barkeep down with a glare. (Character flaw = violence is my answer to challenges.)
Intimidation: 25 (Using STR to intimidate)
Edit: The STR intimidate variant is a thing, but up to you, DM. With a high enough roll like that, I think I was hoping Feng would break the table. But here’s a Charisma-based Intimidation: 15
For future reference, which should I use if Feng is trying to scare something/someone with his sheer physical size/strength?
OOC: How often are we expected to post, btw? I woke up and poor Feng seems to have had a half a scene pass him by!
OOC: I think that is just the nature of the beast (PbP). Just post when convenient, and go with the flow, unless the DM & the party agree beforehand on something more rigorous. I was going to respond to the barkeep's "young & stupid", but enough things happened before I could respond, that it was better to let it go.

"Just because you've never had a greater calling, barkeep, doesn't mean that those of us who do are crazy." Alexander stated, folding up the paper he had written on and putting it in his pocket. He was not a fan of ignorant people, and the stout man was very much proving he fit into that category.
"I appreciate the feedback, polly, but I'm with the Dwarf. I usually have a different higher power in my head, one a lot less malicious. I prefer it." The Tiefling looked down at Xing as he spoke, his tail swishing from side to side. He felt a weight in the pit of his stomach, like something bad was about to happen. And, certainly enough, he heard a crashing noise coming from behind him moments later. He turned his head to see the Goliath in anger, and held his hand out to him.
"Hey big guy, no need to cause to much of a ruckus. Something grander than this drink jockey is going on." He quipped, nodding his head towards the bar keep. If memory served, the giant of a man had previously said he was also in search of the Lord of Sands, so he wanted to keep the peace as much as he could with him.
OOC: Yeah, I saw you two were falling behind so I stopped posting last night to give you guys time to catch up. However, Quasi tends to be correct. Outside of combat, an order of posting doesn't usually exist in PbP. However, I try to not go to far ahead myself if it looks like people are caught up with actual life.
"I already said I'm not an instrument of any demon lord. I'm already working with a higher power, Valkur God of Sailors. Granted he did mark my body with a lightning bolt.
Donar says as he points to an amulet around his neck which holds a symbol of a cloud with three lightning bolts coming out of it.
(OOC: The image pictured below is his holy symbol)
"Valkur, eh?" says Feng, relaxing slightly. "I'm more of a nature guy myself, but lightning is part of nature. I guess that's alright. So long as you're not with some demon or this Lord of Sands thing."
He comes over to where Alexander has written the prophecy on the paper and peers down at it.
"What do you suppose this means, then? Looks like something bad is going down on Midsummer Night..."
DM Question: What time of year is it? How far off is Midsummer Night? If it's tonight, then Feng would probably say "Isn't tonight Midsummer Night? Looks like something bad is supposed to happen..."

Alexander Recognises the language and can begin deciphering it, Hadran however has no idea.
The Barkeep throws a glass bottle at Feng and yells.
"Get the fek Out!!!"

After glaring for a long few seconds at the barkeep, Feng's attention is diverted to Alexander's writing.
"Wait ... you all heard this?" Good thing I didn't... doesn't sound good.
He twists a finger in his ear, as if trying to get rid of a wax block.
"You're all instruments of a demon lord?"
A little tense, Feng scans the room, sizing it up for a fight.
This might turn ugly. These folks seem dangerous. I could totally take any of them, especially the cool little bird dude. But all together? ...
