I've got a Dwarf Wizard I'd love to play! An inheritor to his clan's craft of choice. Something I can tie to a good story. I think he'd be fun. I'm down for anything, really. I love Role Play. I love combat. I definitely like epic style campaigns and dark mystery styles.
I literally have all the 5e books and quite a bit of 2e stuff which is easy to convert if you guys want to paint by numbers most adventure league stuff also not a huge fan of pathfinder the fluff is great but hated the rules system started with advanced and second so know I have a bias against 3.5 though I do have a couple modules I could convert personally I'm a huge blood war fan or really anything with a war backdrop
Campaign-wise, I'm pretty flexible for anything. I've ran Out of the Abyss and Curse of Strahd as far as published 5e adventures go, but I admit I'd love to be a player in another DM's take on OotA since I drastically altered it for my group (I promise not to metagame in the event I ever get to be a player for it). Otherwise, I like most things whether homebrew or pre-published adventure, I'm just not a fan of anything that aims for gritty realism so I'll make that known ahead of time.
In terms of characters, I like a lot of the arcane classes, as well as fighter, rogue, and paladin. I'd love to try out barbarian sometime (dunno if that'll be the next character I play though, depends on what concept seems fun) and I definitely want to roll up a Volo's race character.

Me too, that's why I propose an AP from PF, BUT, played with 5ed rules, all the good fluff without the onslaught of rules and options.

I'm also fine with that option too, I do like PF's content but I very much prefer the 5e ruleset. I've even considered converting some PF classes and archetypes to 5e, though I haven't done any of that yet. Still finishing the 4e avenger and vampire.
Alright you guys get to creating some characters and backstories. Point buy or standard array.Be creative first person to post a character gets a free starting feet. Everyone else If you link character free starting feet too. No homebrew everything else is fine. We will get a head count and lineup and we will get rolling.
Looking for a small dedicated play by post group. 4 seems to be the magic number. Maybe rotate dms very colaborate.
I'm new to this but willing to play
Cool that's all it takes friend any questions feel free to ask
I play an amazing rogue. =)
I'd also be interested, I got enough free time for some extra PBP fun.
Cool tell me more about characters you guys want to play and what kinda campaign your looking for while we wait
I'm down for anything, really.
Pour parler,
If someone is interested in playing some Pathfinder's Adventure Path using 5ed rules, I'd like to play whatever character/class needed

Oh man, if that's the case, I think a 5e Darksun campaign would be awesome!
I’d love to give this style of play a try. I’m a RP heavy gamer and am happy to try any setting.
In case some DMs would try to run PF with D&D 5 rules, I'd like to play, I can not do it, cause lack of time mainly and, second, I never GMing PF.
Would dm pathfinder just don't have any of the content and not familiar enough with the setting.
What I been thinking maybe a simple one shot to determine playstyle and what flavour you guys like. Something very agnostic and simple.
That sounds like a good idea to me, good way to get things established and whatnot.
