He is a Mountain Dwarf and part of a clan of fine jewelers! They bend metals and sculpt gems like no others in their hold! Leomorne is the heir to this prestigious art, and as such, he has been sent out into the world to learn more of the Arcane and hone his crafting. He looks to experience building and tinkering with different materials. Though he is not eager to leave the safety and familiarity of his home, his mother has shoved him from the nest and cannot return until he has crafted a wondrous piece of jeweled art of his own.
Nice add a feat specify your bonds probably the brassbilt clan ideal focusing your craft probably but don't want to pigeon whole you and I want a nice juicy flaw. And good job digging the whole interlocking of craft and magic.
Maybe? Lol not the answer you probably want my plan starting equipment and maybe a small party stipend that you all decide where it goes. Scale mails just 50 gold so you might even be able to sale of starting equipment and have enough.
The second son of a long honoured noble house, Roland inherited his families military obligations and served for several seasons with the Theridian Dragoons. All too soon promoted out of active service by virtue of his family name, Roland was prepared to take his expected place as head of his estates military forces. Feeling cheated of the chance to prove himself and earn the respect he so desires, Roland has bargained for the opportunity to travel the lands and earn his own glory before settling down into the role his family demands of him.
If you are still looking for players, I've a Aasimar Cleric that needs some injuries to take care of. :) Basic layout for now, but I'll flesh him out if you've room. When you said 'Juicy flaw" did you want a custom one and matching standard feat?https://www.dndbeyond.com/fetch/pdf/GKnightBC_578071
“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Juicy as in interesting and starting feat if you link to another character. Doesn't have to be a grand link can be friends associate or even done business just tangibly that links characters together.
Well, looking up at Kaiden, we both chose Noble background. :D

Yeah noticed that too think it would be excellent if you were cousins or some such you all have noby backgrounds that fit really well even know where your signet rings could come from clan brassbilt
Oh I like it. The idea of two rival houses perhaps.
I’ve tied Roland to Leomorne through a chance encounter.
“Along with the Theridian Dragoons, Roland took part in the battle at Grimshard’s Pass; where he aided in the defence of a dwarvern hold against a savage tribe of Orcs. After the battle was won, Roland was ordered to secure the perimeter, that is where he first encountered a young Dwarf called Leomorne Brassbilt, deftly tending to the Arcane wards. Little did he know, he would later come to rely on the Arcanists skills in the many battles that lay ahead.”
Currently still writing up character backstory but I'm planning to go yuan-ti warlock (not evil or murderhobo, I promise lol) so I'll post that in a bit. Just got out of work for the day.
Edit: might actually go with bard instead of warlock, undecided. One of those two, though.
"His house one of the reigning scions of _______, his family and Roland's were friendly rivals for dominance in the courts, with the sons & daughters often playing practical jokes and harmless pranks upon one another in echo of their parent's own back and forth. Brought up as the favoured son, destined to take the reigns of leadership from his father, Lenthium excelled in public speaking, diplomacy and many of the traits of a leader. Then, shortly after puberty, Lenthium was struck down by a sudden fever, a fever that caused his body to reveal the long-suppressed heritage of the Aasimar! In a desperate panic, his parents took him to a high Priest of Illmater where, after many weeks of magic and prayers, Lathandar's avatar came and claimed him as his own - curing the fever-change and enrolling him into the ranks of Priesthood for the god. Reborn, and shining of skin from his ordeal, Lenthium arose, proud and empowered, ready to fulfill his true destiny as one of the God-touched! Guided by dreams sent by Lathandar and his agents, Lenthium travels where he is sent, laying low any manner of evil that he confronts, and seeking all for the glory of his God."
Flaw:
"When low on HP (20% or less) or inebriated, Lenthium will lose control of his social skill, revealing his contempt for all those not of Noble heritage."

Isn't Meditator a homebrew feat from D&D Wiki? I do believe we're only using official content from the books and stuff (and maybe Unearthed Arcana if DM allows). :)
If so, I'll choose the feat Diplomat or Empathic from UA, or Inspiring leader or Lucky if he's not using it. :) I'm flexible as heck.

Also, since I'm a mountain dwarf and come stock with Medium Armor proficiency, would it be possible to start off with maybe Scale Mail armor?

Sounds good to me!
Here's my Character, Roland Vakarian.
DM, please let me know if you have an area in mind we can tie his family to. :)

I really like all the tie ins! Kaiden, I'd love to flesh out the backstory between our characters. I think they would come to be friends.
Thread flag still says recruiting. Total newb here, but would love to get in if there’s an in to get into!
