Balarouse pulls her shortbow off of her back and nocks an arrow. She aims at the floating sword, trying to keep her grip on the weapon steady, and releases the arrow. She'll then attempt to back away about 15 ft. from the weapon.
OOC: So quick question here for the DM. I want to Shocking Grasp a sword. The spell says I have advantage on the attack on creatures wearing metal armor..probably because of the whole electric effect lol. Since these are swords and madeof metal, would I have advantage?
Landris just sorta hobbles down the stairs. His brow furrows as the magical blades fly around the room, harrying the rest of the group. He rubs his hands together, causing sparks to sputter and crackle from his palm and around his fingers. With his newly ensorcelled hand, he reaches out to snatch a sword from the air in his Shocking Grasp!
OOC: It's fine. It's not the first time Landris has been left unconscious and bleeding out on the ground. It is the first time it's happened while being quite old though lol
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Karst assumes one of the other soft-folk will tend to the wounded. He is on the hunt now, and enters the secret passageway, breathing deeply the scent of this place for telltale signs of his prey.
There's a tunnel that the secret panel opened. You enter it. It's dark, and damp, and slightly cramped. You can hear skittering sounds beyond the tunnel. It smells very bad.

That's clever. I'll allow the Mage Hand "attack".
Shy, your arrow misses, thunking into one of the wood panels behind it.
And yes, Xero. I would allow that too.

Shocking Grasp: Attack: 12 Damage: 5
OOC: Great...the same roll twice. So I guess he just ends up swatting at the things instead
Sadly, the Shocking Grasp misses it's mark. The swords are very quick!
Longsword1 on Landris: Attack: 15 Damage: 9
Ah shit, I think I just dropped you HAHA Sorry, man.
And so, with a quick slice, the magical flying sword KO's an old, decrepit man. I hope it's proud of itself! lol
Karst swings his weapon around to swat down one of the pesky flying swords (LS#2).
Karst vs. Longsword #2 Attack: 16
Damage: 10
Nice hit. One sword down.
Balarouse 21, Landris 19, Longsword1 15, Karst 11, Walrus 8
Walrus, you're up. Sorry, I forgot your characters name =P
And Xero, you'll be fine. =P
OOC: It's fine. It's not the first time Landris has been left unconscious and bleeding out on the ground. It is the first time it's happened while being quite old though lol
Very clever, I like it!
The longsword shatters magically as it slams to the ground. It doesn't move again.
Someone will need to tend to Landris =)
And that's 100xp total, divided by all of you guys, so 25xp per player.
From this point, you can either go back to the kitchen, or explore the secret passageway.
Karst assumes one of the other soft-folk will tend to the wounded. He is on the hunt now, and enters the secret passageway, breathing deeply the scent of this place for telltale signs of his prey.
Perception: 15
((Karst isn't very Perceptive.))
OOC: I don't think so.....
((Last I checked we only had four players, two scalies and two fleshies.)
Haha. Yeah, I think there's only four of us....? I think...
Ok, updating the adventure in a moment..nice roll, Krieger. =)
ENCOUNTER 1, CONTINUED
