((Ravenath, try not to skip the order. It makes it hard for me to cast spells that would have influenced your rolls, like Bless or Guiding Bolt.))
"Roscoe watch out! That boar looks mean!" Harmony cries out, beginning to channel a prayer his direction. "May the light of Pelor keep Rosco safe. May the unconquered radiance of the divine be his shield." She whispers, as strands of energy form around the halfling, cloaking him in blessings.
Casting:Shield of Faith targeting Rosco to grant +2 to AC for the next 10 minutes.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
[guys, I'm giving instructions for the master to take on my turn. That's why I said "When my turn came". I'm not doing my action, I'm telling what action I'll do when my turn came. Because of my work, I can only check the thread a couple of times, at nigh. That means that, if I don't describe my turns in advance, it could make you wait up to 48 hours for my turn. The last thing I want to do is to be a burden slowing down the game. If everyone feels bad with me telling in advance what my character will do in his turn, I'll stop doing it, but that will make my turns to came waaaay later.]]
Harmony casts Shield of Faith on Roscoe, who has positioned himself in front of the party, looks poised and ready to strike. The boars continue charging towards the group.
Lucius, you're up.
DM's Notes: Roscoe, I'm understanding you're delaying your action, but the Boars are going last in the order. Are you saying you're going before the Boars? That would permanently change your Initiative Order, just FYI. Please let me know when you want to go. The order was this, when you tell me when you're going we'll slot you in:
Roscoe
Harmony
Lucius
Ravenath
Boars
Ravenath, I don't have a problem with you saying what you're going to do in advance if you're going to be away for more than a day. If you're probably going to be online and able to check the thread within 1 day then it's cool, we'll wait.
(Hmm I was trying to use the "Ready" action that I read about since the boars are still far away so when they get near me I can use my reaction to attack it. I've never used that before so don't know if that's how it works.)
Ravenath takes a hand axe and tries to throw it to take out one of the boars. It spins and looks kind of cool, but misses.
The boars get closer and closer until they are upon Roscoe. Roscoe, seems poised and ready to attack.
Roscoe, you're up.
DM's notes: Please make sure to specify how you're attacking (crossbow, sword, etc). Lucius, if you respond by Sunday evening you can take your turn, otherwise you will skip this round. I hope you are still with us as I'd hate to see the party go down to 3 people.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Roscoe strikes some martial arts poses and lets out a loud 'Ki-yaaah!' as he attacks one of the Boars with a flurry! The first hit deflects off the Boar's tough hide, but the second one hits it square in the temple and brings it down temporarily.
The boar shakes it off and they both try to attack Roscoe...
Attack: 13 Damage: 4
Attack: 11 Damage: 5
The injured boar gets some revenge by digging a tusk into Roscoe's midsection, but the tusk does not get too deep as it is ground down shorter than their other one. It's a good thing, too, because that could have been very bad.)
DMs Note: Harmony, if Lucius doesn't take a turn by 8pm Pacific please go ahead and take your turn.
"Why are these boars being so mean? We were just walking through the forest..." Harmony trails off, looking frantically around at the fighting. "Maybe a quick boob to the snoot will scare them off!"
Casting Sacred Flame at the Boar who slightly gored Roscoe: Spell Save (Dex DC 12), Damage 3

(Harmony casts Sacred Flame and tries to hit the hurt Boar...)
Boar Dex Save: 13
(The boar manages to just barely dodge the flame. It squeals as he notices that Lucius is just standing there, frozen, and moves to take aim at him.)
DM's note: Ravenath, you are up. I have DM'ed Dandalf to see if he's still with us, I'm not sure what to do if he's not. I guess I could play his character as an NPC? We'll see. Sorry all, I promise this'll get better, this is just a little something to get you all used to combat mechanics if you are not already familiar.
((Use the dice function to roll 1d20 and be sure to add your attack bonus in the field that says "add to result." Then also be sure to roll your damage dice using the same dice function, but this time add your damage modifier. Feel free to describe your attack as well, because that's fun to do. Do all of this in one post and our DM will adjudicate things from there.))

(Lucius snaps out of it and reacts with an arrow... and it hits the injured boar! The boar lets out a mighty squeal as the arrow is now stuck in it's back. That boar looks to be in really, really bad shape. But the other one is not hurt at all.)
Ravenath is up now, then Roscoe.
DM's note: When you click on the dice, click the tab that says 'combat', add your attack bonus, type in the type of damage dice your weapon does, then type the bonus damage in the line underneath that.
[Im doing this from my phone, so I don't see the dice option. I've been having to type in the roll commands which is why I've had to ask what I'm rolling, etc.]

I guess I'm going to have to roll Initiative for Ravenath:

Roscoe, you're up first. The boars are about 50 feet away from you all.
DM - Tomb of the Delian Order One-Shot (Level 1)
Natasha - The Call of Lon-Dia Human Rogue (Level 4)
I move 25 ft. towards the boars and prepare myself to attack the first one that comes near me.
[When my turn came I'll attack the boar nearest to Harmony]

I will move and attack one of the boars with an unarmed strike:
Attack Roll: 8
Damage: 6
Then I will use my bonus action (martial arts) and make another unarmed strike at the same boar:
Attack Roll: 13
Damage: 5
(My AC is 14 + 2(Shield of Faith) if the boars attack me)

"Dammit!" I shout as I fumble around to grab my short bow. I look arond in horror at what has happened while I was motionless. "DAMMIT!"
[Okay, I would love to shoot an arrow. What do I do for that?]
[Thank you, Meta.]
*I notch an arrow and turn to face the boar charging my way.* "Who the hell do you think you're gunning for?!" *I loose the arrow.*
