When homebrewing a monster from 2024 MM, the stat block layout used is still that of 2014
Homebrew monsters now let you...
Choose between 2014 and 2024 Stat Block styles
Set the initiative bonus manually
Set Lair XP (if the monster has a Lair)
Set treasure tables from the DMG
Will these statblocks pull into the encounter builder at some point? I updated all monsters to 2024 statblock and still shows 2014 statblocks in the encounter builder.
For the Demilich, in the Howl action, the rollable notations are incomplete.
Howl .Constitution Saving Throw: DC 19, each creature in a 30-foot Emanation originating from the demilich. Failure: 70 (20d6) Psychic damage. Failure or Success: The target has the Frightened condition until the start of the demilich’s next turn.
It shows correctly here, but in the stat block and when viewing the monster in Maps, you see the coding to make it rollable and not what you see above.
Please keep discussion and things you'd like to have seen in the book to other threads. Similarly this is not the place to point out what you think may be math errors by the design team in monster stat, skill, save, initiative, etc bonuses.
This thread is for reporting issues related to D&D Beyond's implementation of the book.

You can discuss them in a thread under Rules & Game Mechanics subforum, which is "for discussion of races, spells, magic items, monsters, backgrounds, and feats". If you have homebrew ideas, you can discuss those in the Homebrew & House Rules subforum. If you have tips or advice on how to play certain monsters, you can discuss those in Tips & Tactics or Dungeon Masters Only.
The game designers do not read these forums, so "reporting" them here won't reach them. This thread is for the support team to diagnose issues in its D&D Beyond implementation.

Not sure if I post it here or to a thread about the D&D Beyond app, but the native “Contents” button (the three bullets) in the upper right of the book page has a number of missing entries.
- Essentially almost every (but not all) of the first monsters in a section only show up if you select the Monsters title. E.g., Faerie Dragons don’t show up on this list as a hyperlink, one must click “Monsters F” and then Faerie Dragon is under the section title.
- Other monsters are missing from the list. “Green Hag” for example doesn’t show up there.
They seem like similar issues, that a “break” was not put there nor does the monster title have the right header tag to it.
Thanks for the clarification of what this thread is for Sillvva. In that case I'd like to bump this issue - it's a DDB *app* specific issue. Given the app part, is this still the right place for it? If so... here it is. ;-) If not, I'll mosey over to the App thread.

Either is fine in that case, but this one has already been passed on to the team for review. No need to send it again over there. In fact, I believe most (but not yet all) of those have already been fixed.
Most Dragons share the exact same hit dice and average HP across all 4 current age groups, as their 2014 versions. A couple, such as the Adult Silver Dragon, have 1 less HD in the 2024 MM. Was this a balance change or oversight?
That's not something anyone here would have an answer for. This thread is for issues specific to D&D Beyond's implementation of the books, so as long as their hit dice match what's in the print copy, that does not constitute a bug.
A little error I noticed on both the app and the Monster listing for the website on the monsters page. On the Air Elemental, the Air Elemental's Composition table, the title of it says Aboleth Schemes instead of Air Elemental Compositions. It's correct in the actual book, the actual table itself is correct on both the app and website listing, and it's easy to tell what it's supposed to be. It's just the heading of the table that's wrong. So it's not a huge deal, but I figured I would mention it.
Can't find a way to contact someone about my order for the MM. Things aren't updating on my side and I believe my physical copy still hasn't mailed. I have access to my digital copy on time. Can't find the write option for opening a ticket or a number to call.
The search form you linked to only searches in the thread for "Quests from the Infinite Staircase - Issues and Support Thread." Apologies if this has already been asked.
I am trying to figure out why the size information is missing from the 2024 entries for several monsters, when using the encounter builder. So, for example, if I search for small and medium humanoids in the 2024 MM, the only hit is for Commoner. Interestingly, using the Monsters main search, it works just fine. It appears to be only the encounter builder that is having the problem.

That may be because they have "Medium or Small" as their size.

Okay. Where should we go then to report on design errors? Because at a bare minimum, the Carrion Crawler and Cultist Hierophant have issues.

Can we find the full errata somewhere?
EDIT: Oh, I see the errata in the Changelog post of Feb. 4th has been modified. That's ..... confusing.
I grabbed that from the first post of this thread. I didn’t know the changelog one was updated as well.
