So, I've been researching Ebberon lore pretty heavily and I cant' seem to answer some questions about names.
If my character is NOT a dragonmarked person (so no " d' " honorific attached to their last name) and they MARRY a dragonmarked member of a dragonmarked house. What would be the family name that they would take if their spouse had taken the house name? Or their children if they aren't dragonmarked themselves?
Further,
What would the family name be of someone who married to a family member of someone who was the heir to a family such as an Ir'wynarn?
Bottom line, are there ANY OTHER honorifics such as " D' " or " Ir' " in Ebberon?
The d' nobiliary particle is only used by people who actually have a dragonmark, not by any member of a dragonmarked house. Most members of the dragonmarked houses don't have dragonmarks. If you marry into a dragonmarked family, you would probably keep your name, but your children would fully be members of the house and bear the name of the parent who is part of the house (which may not be the name of the house; each house has lots of branches). If any of the children actually manifests a dragonmark, they'd also get to use the d' particle.
If you marry into a noble family, again, you'll probably keep your name, but your children will bear the noble name. You may get the right to use the ir' particle if you marry into a noble family? That's not really specified in a book anywhere, so it's really up to the DM and what they think is most interesting.
Do note that members of dragonmarked families cannot legally marry into the nobility (or vice versa) unless one party fully renounces any and all claim to their family.
[EDIT] And to your last question, there aren't any commonly discussed nobiliary particles beyond d' and ir', but you're always free to make stuff up.
