... Caduceus did outright call Dwueth’var "your sword" to Fjord when talking about getting it re-forged and seeking the smith who originally magicked it up. It's a longsword though so per RAW Fjord isn't proficient in them with the warlock class and sailor background. (It's a martial weapon not simple.) But given that a falchion isn't even a weapon in the PHB (are there other weapons besides guns in the other sourcebooks?) Matt could houserule it.
Since he seems to be retaining his warlock-y powers, all he has to do is make the new sword his pact weapon and he's automatically proficient with it.

That, and he took a level in Paladin, so he's proficient with all martial weapons now.
I would have been inclined to roll back his warlock levels some and give him some more levels of paladin to start. "Accursed Specter" seems pretty inconsistent with his new role.
Yeah, that ability is a little out of character for his new path, but then again he did not use it much to begin with so I don't think it will be missed. Maybe Matt will reskin it to be something else more in line with the character's new "patron". Who knows at this point.

It was explained in the show that Melora could not remove the shadow left behind from Ukotoa but could allow him to use it. When Fjord used his hexblade power it was revealed these powers are now "his" not "ukotoa's" but he cannot ever advance in them unless he goes back to Ukotoa.
All of his hexblade stuff is still there, his to use, but Melora's power will be his Paladin abilities.

As described in the show, I'd be inclined to say that it was the Wildmother who reactivated his Warlock powers. His initial eldritch blast had a distinctive Wildmother twist following his change. Doesn't sound like it may be as simple as Uk'otoa Warlock, Wildmother Paladin.
It could be both, that this showed that Fjord never forgot how, only that he lost the "battery" from which he drew that power from.
What I wouldn't have given to see a headband of intellect drop in the first campaign for Grog. My life will never be complete until I see a genius Grog :)
Just started playing. Right now looks like my group will be once monthly. Hoping that changes. In the mean time I'd love to fill the void by watching another campaign. I found this one...but so many episodes already. Should I probably start at one and just work my way through and see if I can ever catch up? Or I guess it doesn't matter if I catch up...but start with ep. 2 and watch through until the end? How long do these campaigns usually last? Like how long was the first?
The first campaign has 115 episodes and he second is at 91. Both are very good so pick either one and you can't really go wrong in my opinion.
The first 'Season" starts at about halfway through their campaign, but honestly it doesn't really matter as they do a good job of getting you settled into the story fairly quickly. If you start with campaign 1, I recommend starting at episode 24 instead of 1. While there are some good things in the first 23 episodes, many on the bugs and issues are worked out by episode 24 and this is where the "Briarwood Arc" begins.
The second starts from the beginning with new characters so you don't miss anything. The story takes place in the same world as the first, but they are not connected in any real way, though that may change as this campaign progresses. This is where a lot of people jumped on board, got hooked, then went back to watch campaign 1.
At about 4 hours per episode, catching up would not be easy, but they are available as a podcast so you can listen while driving and such. You could start with either campaign without issue, though all the issues with the sound quality is worked out by the start of the second campaign.
Artagan - the Archfey that strangled Revenant Vax to death in Campaign 1 and for whom Vox Machina opened a doorway to the Material plane - which allowed him to become the Traveller? It's interesting that in his guise as Gamelie the Faun he was fond of drawing rude pictures and caricatures and now as the Traveller his first disciple/believer - Jester - does the same thing. It makes so much sense but was such a surprise!
This is probably one of the biggest twists in the whole of Campaign 2. Where's the hype?

I've definitely seen it hypothesized in chat.
On Talks Machina this week, Laura confirmed that it was her plan from the start.
Well, she wanted him to be her warlock patron; but after accidentally convincing Travis to be a warlock, Matt let her keep him as a cleric diety.
It's at 19:13, in case the video doesn't automatically start then.

Good point. But depending on the invocations he has, he might be able to keep using CHA for his melee attacks, too. :)
He's still a Hexblade so yes he can still use Cha.

True. You could just reskin it as "blessed spirit of nature" or something.

It's gotta make you smile.

Halloween is gonna be epic... assuming everyone survives their own poor decisions to escape the Happy Fun Ball!

Also, if you're not watching live, YouTube, Twitch, and many podcast apps allow you to increase the playback speed.
That saves alot of time.
OMG! Jester/Laura Bailey was amazing tonight!

That entire last hour was great to begin with! There were so many emotions going around, then Laura with, dare I say, the greatest trick of all time!
