I am an episode behind so I can not scroll much but hearing Cadeuces talk about tea so much I did a search and found that someone is selling Curious Beginnings tea. I am not a tea drinker but as a fan I would be willing to buy it as a collector item. I write this hoping that someone else has seen this and tried it... simple to search for but I do not know if linking is allowed. Thanks,
Sometimes I wonder how much guidance (if any) Matt looks for when dealing with iconic locations and characters from the D&D mythology. Or maybe he just hits the wikipedia and wings the rest of it.

Since both campaigns are set in his own homebrew world, he has created his own lore for everything. HE doesn't reinvent the wheel but he does change the lore to fit the world he's created. I'm sure he looks at the existing lore for things like the monsters and the gods and such but then abandons the bits that don't fit the flavor of his world.
I was being vague to avoid spoilers. But thanks for the primer on the world of Exandria ;)
I'm referring to specific D&D icons beyond the things Matt invented for his campaign such as Vecna (and his associated artifacts), the Sword of Kas, and the planes of fire and Pandemonium. I wouldn't be surprised if this question came up in an interview with Matt somewhere that I have not yet seen.
I think it was something addressed by Matt somewhere, as I seem to recall there being something said about the fact that he prefers to use existing material as a base upon which he can build or expand. I think the visual of molding clay was used.
I am currently watching episode 52 of campaign 2. I am always one episode behind so I am worried about spoilers so I can not scroll much through here...that being said. My daughter likes to watch Sophia the First and the new Carmen Sandiego show. So on our favorite voice actors are on my tv even when I am not watching CR. My question is, since so many of the actors have voiced video game characters and since many video games have action figures, do any of the critical role actors have action figures of one of their other characters? I have no idea how to search this. I figured some of you might know. Thanks,

Guys, I've just listened to the Yasha Playlist on CRs Spotify, and it got me thinking
Has anyone listened to it before?
I feel like I somehow know so much more about Yasha AND Ashley. To those who have heard it, what do you make of these songs? There is a lot of searching for your way in life and romantic failure, what do you think how much of that is pure Yasha, and how much is a bit of Ashley?
To those who are yet to listen to it, I highly recommend doing so if you have an hour for beautiful, melancholic ballads.

I definitely think that based on what we know about Yasha's past (Episode 46 spoilers)
That she was once a very different person than we know now. Her history with her wife and how she still collects those flowers proves she was a romantic, and still is-- Though in a more melancholic fashion. One of the songs that stood out to me on the playlist was "Sick of Losing Soulmates" which seems to tie to one of Ashley's Talks Machina answers where she mentions that she may find someone in the Mighty Nein attractive, and hints that further down in the campaign she might be open to something but that she's not ready yet. The song is about finding someone new to love, but being terrified that you'll lose them, too.
I think she's a strong character in everything except for emotion, where she has a lot of trauma and fear. We've unfortunately not gotten to see Yasha in many emotional situations, but I think what we have seen sort of shows that trepidation.
I definitely know that listening to that playlist made me so sad Ashley can't be there more often! She obviously has a really clear idea of who Yasha is emotionally, and we don't get to see that play out very much since Matt usually takes on just keeping her vaguely present.
I think what you said about her emotional strength is spot on. That previous episode she was in, where the whole party had disappeared for a week out in the middle of the ocean, showed her being uncomfortable and distraught. Mixture of grieving and a sense of abandonment.
Knowing a little about her backstory gives that scene a bit more oomph to it.

I hadn't even considered that, and now I'm emotional over it! #CancelBlindspot ;)
That makes sense, I should have thought about that.

Well, they've all been superheroes, so....
In this thread we are (so far at least) very respectful of spoilers so it is usually safe to scroll through even if you are not fully caught up.
