Lore is big for players who know the game and setting well.
For new players though, how-to-play will be big. But also portraying the fun side of D&D. Perhaps through greatest roll of the week, where either something doesn't go at all according to plan, for better or worse, and what happened throughout the scenario.
Seeing how your team or yourself is part of the Department of Physics how bout something on roll playing physics in game? It helps to know how certain things will react in game and how to describe them. 35 years later and I still have trouble describing certain actions and reactions, this will also be good for new players and DM's . It will give them a descriptive tool and how to explain what characters are seeing and it will give characters a tool to explain how they would like to pull off in game actions. Perhaps a cause and effect table, as a example.
As both a DM and a player I agree with this wholeheartedly. One of the most difficult parts of getting into dnd is learning the lore. There is literally decades of it to rifle through and it can be intimidating to the point where people might opt out. I eventually just said screw it and built my own world. It's not as fleshed out, but at least I know... almost everything that's going on in it.

Lore, how to role play your "anti-self", different methods of bringing the game out of the mental theater. Lore. How to introduce gaming to friends and family. Lore
By "lore", I'm assuming what you guys are looking for is in-depth information on the Forgotten Realms world in which 5E D&D is set?
I think Forgotten Realms would be covered most given its the defacto setting of 5e, but of course we'd cover other settings, etc! :) They're hugely popular and important to D&D's history!
I would agree, the Lore you should know added to the DnD podcast has been something I look for. Its usually just around 10 min - very digestible bites.

Forgotten Realms is a good place to start and handles the majority of the 5E world, but there is a substantial lack on pretty much anything else.
Eberron, Dark Sun, etc... are all fairly underrepresented under the monolith that is Forgotten Realms. It would be nice to see some more professional content revolving around settings other than Forgotten Realms.
Particularly "Onboarding Video(s)" for players.
Histories of regions, culture, and society of the setting.
How does religion play a part in society, magic, guilds, etc...?

Hi, all!
My team is producing a slick video series about D&D! Content will range everywhere from "How to play" videos to product reviews to videos about lore!
We were wondering what everyone wants to see from a series like this! Let us know! :)
Lore lore lore lore lore.... need I say more?

Some how to videos might be cool. Like "how to be a bard" or whatever.
