1) Depending on your location, you might need an entertainment license. (Some people might argue that it's not actually that entertaining....) 2) Critical Role is for when you can't get a group together in the first place! 3) 4 hours+ in your typical LGS chairs can't be good for your body. 4) If you are still reading - it's a good idea, and I am sure Critical Role, like most things, is improved when enjoyed with friends. Please forgive my early cynicism. GLHF.
Back in grumpy mode - at least I haven't seen too many* "Teenager reacts to Nott's reaction on Critical Role!" videos. :)
Do be sure to front load the viewing with some disclaimers
"This is not the typical D&D experience, your personal experiences will vary greatly!" "D&D does not require voice acting experience, or any voice acting period." "This show is not a 'how to play D&D' crash course"
"If you wish to learn how to play D&D: you're in a game shop...buy a book and some friends."

Other than that; enjoy, binge watch, and I hope it inspires others to pick up the addiction. Game...I mean game...
