I want to respect copyrights as much as possible. Anyone have a good resource for music that abides by copyrights for live-stream and recordings of live-streams for twitch and/or youtube? To be specific, I'm looking to enhance immersion for my groups. We've been using Spotify for our home games but this won't cut it for a live-stream, and they really want to start streaming!. I would like to avoid sacrificing instrumentals and ambient sounds if possible. I use them for pub, city, forest, cave, etc ambiance and acoustic instruments only for town background, pubs and fights.
So, do you use music in your games, and those that stream, do you have any good resources for this?

DM for Home-brew campaign based on Forgotten Realms lore. 5 player. Also play in party of 8.
If you're planning on streaming then maybe look at a subscription such as: https://goo.gl/IMZC9A you then won't be flagged as you have rights to use it.
I have never come across this, thanks for the link! There are even some good instrumental pieces that would be pretty great for atmosphere and dramatic affect.

http://tabletopaudio.com/ here is a great site that has copyright-free ambiance tracks, if you want something you don't have to worry about DCMA violations with.
Agree with the recommendations. I principally use syrinscape as I play using fantasy grounds and have a module that maps a ton of one shot sounds from syrinscape as automatic sound triggers for spells, combat, etc. I use tabletop audio at times for ambience and just purchased a massive amount of sounds from ambient realms. I've tried battlebards but gave up as the copyright stuff is confusing to know what you can use as many of the tracks can't be streamed and those that can need to be referenced individually on your stream from the various artists. I get it but too much work for me with other options.
https://www.musicscreen.org is a place where you can find royalty free music, you can buy commercial licenses and you can also use the music at no cost if it is not for profit use. Make sure you make proper credits in your YouTube description ( Artist name, Title and website url)
The first way to get Spotify Premium freeis to create multiple email accounts to register a new Spotify account, then use the account to try 30-day. The Spotify Premium version also allows you to play million of song
Fesliyan Studios is another great artist! You can use their music for non-commercial things. To use it for commercial things,... its super easy! Just donate to them, and poof... you have a license! https://www.fesliyanstudios.com/
I'm just wondering, the streams I watch regularly actually don't use ambient sound or sound effects. Half of then don't even use VTT or used battle maps when they were non covid.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents here even though it's an old topic, but it may still be relevant.
I use syrinscape.com for all of my RPG music and sound effect for my Twitch streams. I know they're also used on a lot of other big streams and both Chris Perkins and Matt Mercer have provided NPC voices for them in the past which is super cool. It's all creative commons music and sounds so as long as you credit them properly, they're safe to use for your streams. I'm a paying subscriber so I have their online player that I use with Discord but it works also with VTT's like Fantasy grounds and Roll20. They do have a free version but I upgraded because it was worth it.
As a GM I find it super easy to fun my game and my stream and have the music and sound effects running in the background that I can change or trigger literally with a tap of my finger and it just adds an extra layer of immersion to the game. Hope that helps

I can't guarantee their suggestions won't flag your content, but it's worth a look I think.

You can check the website where gathered great collection of stock audio. I usually find there something interesting and then use for my blog
