I just discovered these updates. Thanks for posting them, it helps us users understand all the stuff going on behind the scenes and to know that you are (or are not) working on some of the things we have requested.
As you move from the Encounter Builder (which looks awesome so far, by the way) and into working on the more "at the table" tools like combat/initiative tracking, take a close look at what Evan Bailey does with his improved-initiative website. It truly works very very well and intuitively. I don't think you should steal his IP or anything, but the visual setup of the window for managing the active character, the initiative order, applying damage and conditions, and viewing the targets, etc. is very well laid out and very simple. I recommend taking inspiration from that site. And I recommend using Hero Lab's Tactical Console as an example of how NOT to do it. Very hard to find the character you want, can't look at both the active character and the target at the same time, has to open another screen to apply damage, doesn't track conditions very well, small text, hard to read, big combats scroll off the window, etc. Just my thoughts based on my experience trying to find a digital combat management tool that works fluidly.
You have a lot on your plates. Keep up the good work.
Just to make it clear: i am just a fan trying my best to fulfill a demand. I am not associated in any shape or form with DNDBeyond except cheering from the sidelines.
And I tried improved initiative for my games and didn't like it. I hope they do better.
This will be able to get the video of the stream that developer try to update so netgear r6700 review will provide you some kind of summary for that and it will help a lot.
The summary is available here.
