As a long time fan of The Adventure Zone and Critical Role, I filled the hours of my work-week with their delightful podcasts. Unfortunately, I sped through all of their content and have recently found myself at a loss for what to listen to. Having seen the new title coming out on DnD Beyond inspired by Acquisitions Inc., I decided to give them a shot. I loaded up what I thought was their main story-line on my podcast app and started listening.
As it turns out, I've been listening to the "C-Team". Is this team considered the main push of Acquisitions Inc. or is it a spin-off series? If it is a spin-off, how do I get my ears on the main campaign? Will I be missing anything (in-jokes, references, developments) if I continue listening to this team? I've been enjoying the heck out of it!
Any light that can be shed on this matter would be wonderful :)
The main Acquisitions Inc. team is a multi-year, slow-running adventure that takes place a few times a year at various PAX conventions as a live show. Since it only cranks out about four or five episodes a year, it shouldn't be too hard to catch up on. All the videos are up on Youtube, and they also have them in podcast form under the "Acquisitions Incorporated: The Series" name. The Acq Inc. main game is often referred to as the "A-Team"
The C-Team is sort of a spin-off series that airs weekly and also occasionally at certain PAX events. It is sort of its own thing that happens to tie in with the main Acq Inc games occasionally. Basically, the A-Team is the adventures of the corporate CEOs of the company while the C-Team is a look at the more day-to-day operations of the organization.
You can safely watch the C-Team without having to watch any A-Team games, though you will miss out on some things here and there and vice versa. Know that A-Team and C-Team games also sometimes tie in with the Waffle Crew's game over at Dice Camera Action and characters from all of these games tend to do guest appearances here and there in each-others game.

Thank you very much for this! I'll look into watching the "A-Team" later on tonight.
Happy gaming!
