I'm fairly certain that "Adventure League" as a concept is pretty much dead a this point. No game store in my local area is using Adventure League as intended beyond an umbrella term for everyone getting together to play D&D on a given weekday. No convention one state in any direction from me is advertising Adventure League content either.
Honestly, it wasn't well managed to begin with, so I'm not surprised to see it quietly sunset in this way.

Lol. No. AL is still very much alive. I know of several game stores in my area that run AL games and their attendance is growing. AL was also run at several local conventions this year. So I think everyone's experience is different. However, in most places, AL took at hit during the pandemic with lack of face to face gaming and in some markets it is only slowly recovering depending on whether there is a someone local who is aware and interested.
However, the issue is that WotC gives very little direct support to AL administrative team which seems to include the time of D&D Beyond employees to update simple links like those found here in the pinned thread.
To the OP, as mentioned by Metamongoose, the documents linked here were current as of March 24, 2024 - they did not expire then. There are updated versions of some of the documents available. Unfortunately, these are currently only available on the D&D discord in the #al- channels - particularly the #al-updates channel.
This link should let you join the official D&D Discord.
(I don't know if that link has an expiration time ... )
As to the OPs questions ... AL stopped the entire "seasons" thing a few years ago ... they have had several themes since then ... Wild Beyond the Witchlight, Spelljammer, Planescape but I think the last "season" was 10 - Rime of the Frost Maiden. The main difference is that WotC stopped making in house adventures at that point. The community was producing a lot of content through the CCC (Convention Created Content) and some partners like Baldman Games were producing their own sets of adventures. So, since season 10, AL adventure creation has mostly been an effort by the AL community and some strategic partners. As a result, WotC dropped the entire "Season" terminology. The program to allow anyone to create AL legal adventures is called DungeonCraft.
Anyway, the advantage of AL is the portability and transferability of characters between different venues playing AL. You can play your characters at home, at a local game store, at a convention or even in a different city or country as long as the games are AL legal and the character is an appropriate level for the adventure. In addition, AL sessions are typically 4 hours maximum and the way it is usually run is via sign ups at a local store, this makes playing your characters when you are available much easier without having an entire table depending on you to be able to make it every week. If you can't make it, you don't sign up and someone else takes the spot. AL is designed so that you can play when you are available and can fit it into a busy schedule with work, family, children and other commitments. Is it ideal? In some ways no but it is still fun and each table can be quite different.
Adventurers League Wild Beyond the Witchlight Pack A special pack for DMs, containing adaptation materials for Wild Beyond the Witchlight as well as a prequel adventure, "Lost Things!" Effective February 7 through May 31, 2024.
Adventurers League Service Awards Get rewards for your Adventurers League characters when you Dungeon Master or help out the Adventurers League community! Effective February 7 through May 31, 2024.
(The expiration of May 31st 2024)
I was used to one book per season with a theme so was assuming to find some DDAL14-01 vecna stuff.
Thanks for the answers - i liked the AL a lot but it seems its time to move on.
Also the 2024 Guidance is supposed to be released Monday. David42 could you post a link to here or some where in this forum, since you seem to be on top of things.

There was a new Service Award document releast just after May 31st. Player's guides are updated a couple of times a year. Seasonality is not a thing any more, and you can play all the adventures from way back if you want. All the hardcovers from WotC are also AL legal, there are adaptation guides for them released some time after publications.
AL is far from dead, and now that they are allowed, communities are pushing out more new adventures than any single community could manage to play through. The online scene grew significantly with the pandemic, and despite some fallback when things returned to normal (-ish?) there are still many active communities.
Two new Premier Organisers have been announced (Scotland Tabletop and the Greasy Snitches from Philippines).
AL has changed a lot even during my short 5 years, some for the better, some for the worse.
You can filter by Storyline and then Adventurers League to find any hardcover adventure related content.

We're using the name Polyhedral Adventures for our Premier Organiser content, to distinguish it from the in-person convention. Currently pulling together our plans for MurghĂ´m.

How do i get an up to date Players and GM guides that did not expire?
Thanks in advance

The Players Guide and DM's Guide that are linked in the "Resources and Links" thread became effective in March - not expired.
