I've been considering playing a druid in AL, but I can't find which resources I can pull from for wild shapes. If my secondary resource is Volo's, can I shift into beasts from that book? If he was created for Strahd, can I shift into beasts from Storm King's Thunder? Monster Manual, for that matter, since it isn't an official sourcebook?
From a rule standpoint, you have to see the beast before you can transform into it.
But I believe in AL, any official book released so far is a valid sourcebook. The DM has tha last word though, you have to ask him first.
A note about the Curse of Strahd:
Since Barovia is in a sort of demiplane, the beasts you can transform into are limited to the ones you encouter there....unless you have seen some many beasts before yuo start that campaign.
The Monster Manual and other resources are legal rules sources for the purpose of determining what is available for class features such as Wild Shape, Beast Companion, and various conjure spells, keeping in mind that your Dungeon Master is the final arbiter for deciding whether or not you have satisfied any requirements imposed upon you by your class (such as the druid’s requirement to have seen the beast in question). However, without specific campaign documentation, you may not use any of the Variant rules contained therein. Additionally, as there are no specific stat blocks for “templated” creatures, such as half-dragons, these are not permitted for use.
Other resources would likely mean any published WotC works.

Thank you both for your assistance!
Maybe a bit off topic, but here you can find the D&D podcast with Jeremy Crawford on Wild Shape:
