I'm looking for creative solutions to Cert control, what do you keep them in?
I used to keep all my character stuff in binders, but now that I've gone D&DB I'm pretty much paperless. But I do go to Cons and want top participate in Fai Chen more. Justr currious what you all do to store/transport your certs.
I've seen folks who keep certs in those clear page separators with pockets that fit in a binder. I think pages typically have three slots on each side of the page.
However, certs are not generally needed anymore and aren't necessarily issued in any case. The only time a cert is needed is when you want to trade an item with unique properties. The cert has to specify a rarity in this case and then it can be traded.
-------
Do I Need a Certificate to Trade a Permanent Magic Item? Only if the item would otherwise be unique and untradeable.
Do I Need a Cert for Items With Additional Properties? Your DMs should provide the full item description to their players, and/or provide photographs or photocopies of each item as they are presented in the adventure for their players. It is up to you to make sure that you keep accurate track of any additional properties in your adventure logsheet.
