I am new to AL and currently have a level 2 dwarven life cleric. I was wondering what would be the smartest thing to spend my treasure points on first?
Do you just heal or do you Attack too. If you just heal and use a Shield, +1 Armor or +1 Shield is the best for low levels so your AC goes up. If you dont get hit a lot and like to attack and do damage the go +1 Weaon.
im probably gonna go shield as everyone else in the party is level 5 / therefore everything we meet can really kill me
mostly i've been hiding behind the paladin and blessing people xD
Just a quick comment but unless you are playing in an ongoing hardcover adventure like Tomb of Annihilation etc ... your level 2 can't be in the same group as level 5s since AL is divided up by tier. In addition, a +1 shield or +1 weapon will cost 16 treasure points which you won't have until you reach level 5 anyway.
As for +1 shield vs +1 weapon, I would tend to go with the weapon if you attack in melee at all. As you get to higher levels there are more creatures that are resistance or immune to damage from non-magical slashing/piercing/bludgeoning and a magic weapon is the easy way to bypass this resistance. An extra +1 to AC is always useful but it depends on how often things are swinging at you.

Hello!

Magic weapon?
Armor?
Some cool nick-nack?

The most handy thing you can pick up will be a +1 weapon. There are a lot of things with slashing, piercing and bludgeoning resistance.
thanks guys :D
