you read the title, I'm running spelljammer and want to add more interstellar life. these are not supposed to have statblocks or be fought at all, just be cool things to look at and sailor legends. its really a spec-evo project, but I'm open to all ideas. I've got...
Greater Space Eel
a giant cousin of the space eel, the greater space eel has a dozen pharyngeal jaws that move like tentacles and extend over great distances. these jaws were long though to be creatures in of themselves. the often prey on larger scavvers and kindori. about three times the size of a Spelljamming vessel
Solar Parisite
a radially symmetric serpentine organism that is essentially a super sized bacterium that feeds of the metals within stars. about the size of a Spelljamming vessel.
Star Vulture
a larger cousin of the Space mollymawk that fills a niche similar to vultures. about half the size of a spelljamming vessel.
The Grue
if you had a good childhood you know exactly where I got that name, The Grue is more of a terrifying legend than an actual creature. the legends are always the same. a spelljamming ship happens upon a patch of starless space. curious, they enter. as they look back the way they came, they see the stars winking out, one by one. as if massive jaws were closing... then they realize that they are being swallowed by a titanic creature as black as space itself. sometimes they escape, sometimes not. fortunately, the Grue is only a story. hopefully.

If you want to be really absurdly big, you probably want the various corrupted stars and planetoids. The only one I am aware of getting a writeup in any edition of D&D is Allabar, Opener of the Way (statted up in 4e), but there's also Acamar, Caiphon the Dream Whisperer, Delban the Star of Ice and Hate, Gibbeth, Hadar the Dark Hunger, Khirad the Star of Secrets, Nihal the Serpent Star, Zhudun the Corpse Star, and probably others. Some of them (Acamar, Caiphon, Gibbeth, Hadar) are noted as having a connection to the Neogi.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

Once i ran a lunar dragon that got itself stuck in its moon and was flying it around like a spelljamming ship
it was for a one shot.
Please, honor this signature by humming that one Zelda sound next time your players find a magic item
