I am doing a DnD campaign, and the next session is close to Thanksgiving. What Thanksgiving theme items would be good for 1st level players? (They are on session 4, the chapter is just very long, that's why they are 1st level)
You could reskin the Cauldron of Plenty into a cornucopia. There's also the Bead of Nourishment, which is pretty much a Goodberry without the healing perk.
Components: V, S, M (a piece of cured meat worth at least 10 gp)
Duration: Instantaneous
You conjure a hearty meal that serves up to six creatures. The food appears on the ground or on a suitable surface within range. Any creature who partakes of this meal gains a +1 bonus to attack rolls for 8 hours.
OR Turkey parts for the Win - Magical remnant's from the thanksgiving feast good for 24 hours
1. Wishbone Dagger (+2 Dagger)
Part: A magically sharpened wishbone.
Flavor: This bone gleams with an inner light and feels unnaturally strong.
Special Ability: On a hit, the target takes an extra 1d4 piercing damage.
2. Drumstick Club (+2 Club)
Part: A magically reinforced drumstick.
Flavor: This drumstick is surprisingly heavy and dense.
Special Ability: On a hit, the wielder can make a bonus action shove attack against the target.
3. Wingblade Scimitar (+2 Scimitar)
Part: The tip of a wing, magically sharpened.
Flavor: This blade is incredibly light and swift, leaving trails of faint light with each swing.
Special Ability: The wielder gains +10 feet of movement speed.
4. Talon Gauntlet (+2 Unarmed Strike)
Part: Turkey talons magically grafted onto a gauntlet.
Flavor: These talons are razor sharp and seem to twitch with a life of their own.
Special Ability: On a hit, the target takes an extra 1d6 slashing damage.
Just some fun stuff you can toss in for 1 session then it disappears poof!
Reskin a luck stone into a lucky turkey foot/wing/feather/gizzard
Huntsman's axe - Regular handaxe or battleaxe, but does an extra die of damage on beast type, or flying creatures
Casserole of Burning Tongues- this casserole is always too hot to eat. Any creature who takes a bite of this casserole cannot speak for one minute and must make a Con save. On a failed save, the creature takes 1d4 fire damage.

Feather token of the turkey - you can choose how strong you want the turkey to be or if it is just a form of transportation.
Chest of Preserving
Stuffing of Stuffing - each serving is enough to sustain a PC for a day.
An item that gives a single use of Heroes Feast
"Sooner or later, your Players are going to smash your railroad into a sandbox."

"real life is a super high CR."

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
