Not sure if this thread will get reviewed but i cannot seem to get the actions to work on this monster. I have looked the block up and down and even tried the rollable dice blocks but it seems to always break one part of the roll and fix another every time I edit any action that isnt the Bite
Unfortunately the published version isn't much help. We'd need to see the actual code you put in for the rollable sections in order to help with them. Can you post that code here?
So I am tryng to create a weapon that has an option to do 1d6 lightning damage if certain conditions are met. Is there a way to automatically increase the number of D6 based on level? I know this is for monster creation, but I am hoping it is similar in function.
"Melee Weapon Attack:+6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d8 + 3)slashing damage."
It doesn't come up as clickable in Maps VTT.
You'll have to escape the tags somehow if you want us to see the full expression, because the forum renders the tags. Try just changing the [ ] brackets to { } brackets.

I updated the post with a link to a photo of the expression.

I've stared at this thing for a few minutes now and I'm not seeing anything obviously different between it and one that I have that's working for me.
I do notice that if I create a new monster based on an existing one, it capitalizes the damage type (e.g. "Slashing" instead of "slashing") but I have working ones that do it both ways, so I don't think that's likely to be the issue.
All I can think of is maybe see if you can post it as text somewhere, just to make sure there aren't any weird characters in there messing it up.

I think the initial spacing was off because there was no space between "Melee Attack:|rollable|" because when I made the space and kept refreshing, Maps VTT recognized It properly and let me roll. It was tripping me out too because I try co always base home-brew monsters off existing ones and copy and paste the expressions so I don't have to do it from scratch. I appreciate you looking into it!

Is there something wrong with this expression?

Sorry! Access is updated.
