okay so i have the public homebrew subclasses in my collection, i have homebrew marked in the character creation screen, and my character is high enough level to have a subclass, but none of the subclasses are showing up in the subclass selection menu. how do i fix this?
Im pulling my hair out here. I created an int based genie warlock. Its in my collections but couldn't be published because its too similar to the genie tcoe. I mean its exactly the same except its int. I go to add it to a character and it doesnt show up in homebrew when I select it. Even advancing to 3rd level (locks get their subclass at 1st). What am I missing?

Is there any way to acces subclasses before 3rd level? Or i always have to play as a normal fighter at first and second level and then at 3rd acces my custom subclass?

Fighters get their subclass choice at level 3, and that's when the first subclass features are granted. That's just part of the rules for the Fighter class. Most classes have always gotten their subclass at level 3 in 5e; in the 2024 version, all of them do.
That's not to say you can't roleplay as a particular subclass before that.

Now I have this problem with my fighter subclass, I have a ready subclass in my homebrew collection, but when I create a character and put it at lvl 3, I don't see an option to choose my subclass, only the two basic ones for the beyond: champion and gunslinger. I have homebrew content enabled in my character options and I don't know what to do with it anymore

You’re using the 2024 version of the class, but your subclass was made for the 2014 version. Just change it to the legacy version on the Class tab.

No problem!
