Welcome to my series where I try to fix underperforming subclasses released by WotC. Below are the end results of the “fixed” subclasses, and were applicable links to the threads in which they were tackled. These are largely a group effort, so please join in the conversations!
Most of these are fairly minor changes, and therefore the fixed subclasses are unpublishable, but please feel free to copy the changes for your own homebrew fixes for use in your home campaigns. Enjoy!
I dont want to step on your toes or steal your thunder, but I have been trying to do something similar on my own with alot of the subclasses from the Sword Coast's Adventurer Guide: the Battlerager, Arcana Domain, Banneret, Oath of the Crown, and Undying Patron. I largely consider these to be unpopular as well as I hear of them seldom being used and some of them feel like they got soft reworked into entirely different subclasses later on (Undying -> Undead, Crown -> Redemption, etc).
Can I post my changes here (or in other threads as a part of the FIFY series) or would your prefer to keep this series for your own alterations?

For the Oath of the Crown, I am not going to make it its own thread as I only have two small changes I want to make, which I will post here
FIFY WotC: Oath of the Crown (two features)
Divine Allegiance
Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you cannot have their hit point maximum or ability scores reduced by any means. A creature that already has any of these values reduced has their original values restored if they complete a short rest while within this aura. Additionally, the effect of your Divine Health feature extends to friendly creatures while they are within this aura, and any diseases already affecting them immediately end when they enter the aura.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
(changed to have a more unique aura that does not overlap with that of Redemption paladins)
Exalted Champion
At 20th level, your presence on the field of battle is an inspiration to those dedicated to your cause. You can use your action to gain the following benefits for 1 hour:
You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
Your allies have advantage on death saving throws while within 30 feet of you.
You have advantage on Wisdom saving throws, as do your allies within 30 feet of you.
If you use your Turn the Tide channel divinity option, a target does not need to be able to hear you to regain hit points.
This effect ends early if you are incapacitated or die. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long res
(Removed the restriction of the BPS resistance to only attacks from nonmagical weapons. Added the benefit that your Turn the Tide CD could be empowered in this state to restore hitpoints to downed allies, not just those that can hear you. This would allow you to really turn the tide of battle by restoring hitpoints to all of your downed allies at once)
Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.
