i am trying to make a subclass so I can use the oath of the sea on the new paladin, but the spells are not adding as prepared spells as expected, is it an expected feature of the new classes, or is it an issue with the tool?
i am adding them on the additional specific spellsfrom the main page, while setting charisma as the spellcasting ability, setting it to cast spells, level prepare type and knows all spells, however I also tried with just the spell casting ability set and the other options blank. they appear in the spell list for me to select for the character, but they should be always prepared, and not count towards the spell count
edit, Spells: Augury, freedom of movement, call lightning, commune with nature, control water, create or destroy water, misty step, freedom of the waves, freedom of the winds
I tried that as well, and it is doing the same thing, I even tried adding the legacy versions of the spell to the sheet to see if that was an issue, but it didn't work then either (right now I have all the latest versions of the spells if they are available
After you change things under Basic Information to only listing the spells and leaving everything else blank, did you wait 20 minutes before checking the character? If so, sometimes character sheets get stuck, and it ends up becoming necessary to remove the homebrew from the character and re-add it, or testing it on a brand new character sheet.
That did not seem to work either, however, I tried adding oathbreaker while I was removing the homebrew, and it looks like hellish rebuke wasn't added, and was doing the same thing, added to my spell list and not my character, does that mean it is probably a glitch with the new classes?
Hmmm. Very strange indeed. I checked and the subclass for both the Cleric & Druid do things is like I suggested, and that’s how it always used to work too. 🤷♂️

How are you adding them, and which spells?

Try it again with just the spells entered and everything else blank.

Did you start to create your subclass before or after the update came out?
