Hello, I need help with updating the spells on an item to the 2024 rules. I've tried a few different ways but it always pulls from the 2014 rules. An example is Thorn Whip. If there is a specific way to display spells from the 2024 rules I would greatly appreciate knowing how to do it, or to be notified that it is an update for the future.

Do you mean the tooltips, or the spells actually attached to the item? For example, the thorn whip spell is only in the PHB, not the free rules. So you can only access the new versions of the spells for your homebrews if you have purchased a license for the new version of the PHB from this site.

The tooltips. I have the spells attached to the item corrected, but when using the tooltip in the description it always reverts to 2014 rules.

Instead of [spell], use [spells], that will reference the 5e24 versions.

Is that an intended solution, or just a workaround till 2024 rules are widely available?.. Did they add "s" to all the "old" tags lol? Is there a list of updated tags?
