If you roll off the table you re roll, and one that my players like Spell casters cast at their level. Example a Level 5 Sorcerer has access to level 5 spells. This evens out as after 9 they can't get any more free spells and have to buy or learn them and every level after 9 is stat bonus points
Drinking Rules: A PC can imbibe a number of alcoholic drinks equal to their Constitution bonus (modifier) with no ill effects. Each drink after that requires a Constitution Save vs a DC that depends on the drink (for example DC 8 for common ale). If they pass, no ill effect. If they fail they gain one level of Exhaustion. Whether they pass or fail, each subsequent drink gives them a -1 to the check, so the first drink after drinking their total "Con allotment" is at -0. The next one is at -1. The next one is at -2. And so on. Once they reach level 6 Exhaustion, instead of Death, they fall unconscious and make one final Con save. If they fail that last save, while unconscious, they have alcohol poisoning and need to start making Death Saves.
