Hello folks. I've been looking at implementing a "custom class", which is essentially a reworked version of the Blood Hunter (using both some of my own stuff and laserllama's variant). Since I cannot add a new class in its entirety, and I cannot replace base class features using a custom subclass, what would be the best way of going about this? One idea I have is that I'll print out the player's features on physical cards or similar, and then make some custom feats (or subclass) and such to help him track things in D&D Beyond, and then Frankenstein the character to have his proficiencies, saving throws, etc in the shéet. I could really do with some ideas here.
The main thing with the "custom class" thing is to bring the character more into the 2024 rules, and to give him a class that better fits the character idea. Still gonna do some playtesting for power.
