Hey everyone,
a while back James Introcaso wrote some really useful Design Workshop articles, that I though would be handy to link here for reference.
They're a good read if you're thinking of creating your own homebrew on D&D Beyond.
Pun-loving nerd | She/Her/Hers | Profile art by Becca GolinsIf you need help with homebrew, please post on the homebrew forums, where multiple staff and moderators can read your post and help you!"We got this, no problem! I'll take the twenty on the left - you guys handle the one on the right!"🔊
This appears to be somewhat outdated. The screenshots no longer match what's actually in the tool. Does anyone know of a more current design guide?
Not much help here for figuring out Homebrew. Just have to fiddle with it until you get what you want. It took me a while on the first one I did, but it got there eventually. One would think it might be a little more user friendly.
The good news about Homebrew is you can do anything you want to.
The BAD news about Homebrew is you can do EVERYTHING you DON'T want to.
I ended up making copies of so many races just to see how the tools work.
Having trouble adding proficiency to rifles and pistols, when building a homebrew Race. Anyone have any suggestions?
There is no subclass guide
Thanks we hadn't noticed
