I'm working on a subclass on which I'd like to include a feature that allows you to choose two skills to double proficiency on, but I'd like to limit it to Charisma-based skills. Is this possible? So far I've got it working where I've got two modifiers for the feature, each set to "Choose a Skill", which works the way I want but also includes options that aren't Charisma-based. I've tried to select CHA under the "Ability Score" picker, but that doesn't seem to affect the offerings in the dropdown.
You will want to create an Option in that feature, and create an option for each possible selection. Then you will want to set the levels when the option is granting to be two of the same. For example, if this is a level 8 feature you would enter "8,8" without the quotation marks.
The problem with that solution is that it doesn’t use current skill proficiencies as the selection pool, unlike the Choose a Skill picker. So a player could select Intimidation regardless of whether they are currently proficient, which is not what I intend.

I'm also having this issue with a Feat.
I tried options but options only grant Actions.
I wanted to create a Feat where only four possible skills can be chosen to become Expertise:
"But options only grant actions"
This is completely and entirely false, if you make an option, and edit it, you can add a modifier which can be any skill.
My homebrew content: Monsters, subclasses, Magic items, Feats, spells, races, backgrounds
Options only grant Actions on feats. Options can grant anything for class features, which is what MellieDM was talking about. Features ≠ Feats.
