Oh, true true. I guess you would just have to be careful to only give the player swords, bows, other things that don't break blocks, etc.
you do realize that that is special, command granted pickaxes that do that, if you give them just an normal pickaxe or shovel they are unable to do anything with it other than murder mobs less effectively than a sword, to quote the minecraft wiki on adventure mode:
"blocks can be destroyed only with an item/tool that has the CanDestroy NBT tag, and cannot be destroyed by the player's fist. Likewise, blocks require the CanPlaceOn NBT tag to be placed"
in other words, you can make it so that only certain players have the tools to break blocks, and have those players only able to break cobblestone with their pickaxe and dirt blocks with their shovel, or you can give them an perfectly normal shovel with /give @p minecraft:iron_shovel 1 and this completely normal iron shovel will not be able to break any blocks at all, no more able to break blocks in adventure mode than an sword or your hand, but if you want them to for instance use this shovel to break an door you can add an tag that lets them do that with an command such as /give @p minecraft:iron_shovel{CanDestroy:["minecraft:iron_door"]} 1. If you dont mess with commands or anything and just craft an normal shovel or pick one from the creative inventory without any special commands or tags and give it to an adventure mode player, they will still be unable to break any blocks with it

i am soup, with too many ideas (all of them very spicy) who has made sufficient homebrew material and character to last an thousand human lifetimes
I've just been using a map making mod, and a few others to do mob customization, item customization, world edit, etc. It's easier than commands, plus I know all the world edit commands.
Though I haven't had the time to get much more progress done on the map, but it's a lot more simplified than what people have been suggesting...
Why can’t I find a way to make a dnd campaign on the internet that is based on minecraft, like this is the closest I got but to no avail
i have personally been working on such an project, gotten as far as basic lore, some moster stat blocks and races, an extra skill proficiency and background, and a few magic items
So here it is for anyone who wants a Minecraft setting. :D
i mean using the normal PHB human stats and then having more unique benefits and penalties for piglins, villagers and potential monsterous races would make a lot more sense, but this is neat

Hey Tree Puncher, there are some XP farms in Minecraft that you can gain access to like Fishing Farm. You can create one by utilizing a trapdoor and some tripwires. It is a big farm because not just will you get an amazing experience, but you can also find numerous items. Some of these can be from multiple sources of food or even some enchanted books. Whenever you catch an item, you will get some experience. Then there is Endermand Farm, the one that you have made it to the end after killing the ender dragon. Enderman farms are best because they give a huge source of experience to the player, but they also give thousands upon thousands of ender pearls. I have ran 5 sessions of an adapted, urban fantasy, d&d campaign in minecraft and me and my friends are in the middle of the second season, we are in a hiatus after session 2 and plan to continue the campaign in february, it is a FUDGING LOT OF WORK but is very fun and I love it.

Also known as CrafterB and DankMemer.
Here, have some homebrew classes! Subclasses to? Why not races. Feats, feats as well. I have a lot of magic items. Lastly I got monsters, fun, fun times.
Yeah probably what I would do to.
That Sounds honestly very interesting and if anyone was going to host one soon, I'd be intersted

Boom, minecraft Steve race: (Yes it’s a little OP but fits the mechanics.)

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/turnbasedminecraft
Can we have the seed please?
That wouldnt matter if they were in adcenture mode i think
How is it going?
sound great man
Have you tried the MOD version of the game yet? It's pretty good. I play 2 games Minecaft and Among US skins download are both mods
I am playing the latest version of the game Minecraft. it's Minecraft APK version. minecraft pe download gratis
The first thing I thought of was using WorldPainter. It's been a while, so you probably already have good progress on the map.
With that aside, it's been a while since the start, how's it looking?
I would play that if there is still an open spot in the campaign
How is this going along it’s been 2 years?
