As the battle rages on, the sound of a large horn echoes over the battlefield. The injured lead cultist looks up and shouts, "Praise Tiamat, it's about to begin! Let us trouble ourselves no longer with these scum and clear out"
The fanatical cultists seem to lose all interest in fighting Savra and begin a hurried retreat, Disengaging from battle followed by the kobolds. For some reason, they seem to want to quickly dash away from the battlefield though the fight was in their favor.
The human guard is bleeding out on the field and desperately needs medical attention.

Savra frowns as the invaders disengage and rush off. She cannot follow as the human is down, so she moves to his side and sees what she can do to aid him... Medicine: 7
Would Savra have any idea what the horn means? Her history with the cult might have her having some ideas, but what do you think? History check? If so: History - 5

The human wounds are too grievous for Savra to patch quickly. The tiefling tries to help as well.
Medicine: 14
Soon, the flow of blood is staunched.
Savra remembers that the cult loves to use horns for all sorts of things, but can't exactly remember what this one signified. That question soon answers itself, however, as in the distance the group sees a large, dark-winged shape flying towards the keep.
"Guess we can be glad we are not in there." Savra says with a frown at the keep. She nods to the Teifling. "Let's get him back into the tunnel, and out of sight." She helps carry the human back inside, where he can hopefully recover a bit more from his wounds.
Savra and the tiefling drag the human back into the cover of the old tunnel, closing the rusty exit grate behind them with a squeak. At that moment, the moonlight is blocked out for just a moment as a large dark shape flies overhead.
There's a sound of sizzling lightning and screams, followed by the twang of bowstrings. It appears the keep is engaged in combat with the dragon, though Savra and the tiefling are currently safe.

"Likely as good a time as any to see about getting some of those villagers back here." Savra comments. She nods to the Tiefling and heads back out through the gate. She would make her way to where she saw the villagers the latest cultists and kobolds were going after, and see if she can find them, to lead them to the tunnel. Then she would move further afield, looking for any she can aid in getting to the safety of the tunnel.

The tiefling decides to stay back, ashamed that her clumsiness in armor resulted in the group's failure to ambush the cultists. She wishes Savra luck and tends to the wounded human.
Savra quickly finds the mother and daughter, huddled in the tall brush. They are extremely grateful for her rescue, and though the child is hesitant to go back to the keep while it's under attack, they return safely to the old tunnel under the protection of the tiefling.
Savra notices a general lack of cultist patrols; it appears many have hung back either to get out of the way of the dragon or to watch it's glory. Anyways, it's indeed a good time to go rescue more villagers.
If she is stealthing, roll me a stealth check. The chance of encountering cultists is far less likely, but still possible, and an extreme failure on stealth may result in being noticed by the dragon.

Savra finds it difficult to maneuver in the ruins of a village, but alas she doesn't come upon any cultists. Instead, she spots 2 townsfolk huddling in the ruins of a half burned building. They do manage to spot her, and they quickly back up with improvised weapons in hand. They are very wary of her, even though she's not attacking.
(Charisma check of choice to calm them down)

"I am here only to help you." Savra calls out softly as she moves toward them. She waves for them to lower their weapons. "I have somewhere you will be safe, and wehre you can get to the keep once that dragon flies off again."
They lower their weapons, clearly mollified by Savra's smooth-talking.
"Alright, and where would that be?"
(If Savra decides to take them to the tunnel, which is in the direction of the keep, she'll have to make another stealth roll and a charisma check to keep them on course.)

"This way." Savra says, waving them to follow her. When they balk at going towards the keep she frowns at them. "I have a place you will be completely safe from the dragon, now let's go before it swoops down on us."
With incredible force of personality and stealth, she manages to lead the villagers back to the old tunnel, successfully saving four lives from the cultists. Yet something's wrong. The tiefling's gone, and only the mother and her daughter as well as the unconscious human remain.
The mother explains, "I couldn't stop her! She said that they needed her help in fending off the dragon attack. I hear a lot of people are dying as they can't make it go away!"

"Here, lock this gate." Savra says, as she brings the others inside. "Then let's move back from it a bit, so that you are not in danger from those outside." With that done she looks to the villagers she has saved. "I'd suggest staying put, as this is likely the safest place right now." Then she turns away and heads back into the keep. She racks her brains for anything she knows about blue dragons, and anything in particular she knows about horn signals from her days as a cultist.
While Savra doesn't remember much about blue dragons other than their lightning breath, she does remember that the cults enjoy making horns out of dragonbone as signals for battle or training. She should be able to recognize some basic ones like retreat or attack.
Something strikes her as odd. The cultists have of course been trying to enlist the help of dragons while Savra was in, but she remembers them never being very successful. The dragons have always felt above such trifling matters, and perhaps this dragon feels the same.
Savra attacks the kobold that is in melee with her.
