Dageron goes to the 'Middle School' section as indicated. Moving very quickly, he grabs books that say "Basics of..." or "Fundamentals of..." or "Advanced...." or "Principals of...". As he does, he also comes across college and trade school prep material. From these, he learns the names of dozens of fields and specialties (e.g.: physics, chemistry, carpentary, engineering, etc...). He writes those down. Looking around to ensure he is unobserved, he casually throws books into his bag of holding as he goes ( lots and lots). He then goes back to the Librarian for more in depth sections on the named topics, as well as a few he imagines should exist in this world (mining, military doctrine, firearm design, gunpowder crafting, and blacksmithing).
The Ghostbusters are conversing in hushed tones and whispers as everyone does their things. Zeddemore side-eyes Shavaris for a second.
"A few years ago, when they first go started," He points to Spengler, Venkman, and Stantz. "They had to come down here and research the ghost of a dead librarian. Apparently she was a real bad customer."
"That's an understatement." Venkman interjected.
"Just...let us work." Stantz says, unsure of what to tell them. "You guys aren't going to know what to do with all this stuff. I don't even know if we do. Why don't you...look around down here? See if you spot anything interesting. If anything, you know, pops up. But yeah watch for that librarian ghost she gets mean fast."
Adam picks up the books that Dageron sets down. “Middle school. Eh? These books are hard! Probably your most advanced science and wizardry type people look at these, write these, right? Whoa….” He sits down, floored by what he is reading and he can’t really make heads or tails of these things they call exponents or the “order of operations,” whatever the hell that means. He turns to Dageron, saying “X and Y? Who the hell is that? Haveta bust out my thinking circlet for that one….” He flings the book down and starts to look at his fingernails, digging dirt away from underneath them and pushing back the cuticle. “Fine. You guys just let me know if you need me. Whatevers.” He keeps his eyes on the other folks moving through the library, trying to make sure no one is watching them or paying too much attention to them.

Dageron nods at Adam as the other man examines the textbook. Whispering, he replies, "When taken in full, this world appears to be one governed by intricate rules and order. When and how to cross their roads safely, to operate those vehicles, and the constant flow of so many people moving about their lives with purpose. I have visited civilizations similar in bearing. To make this world work they require a deep tradition of education. My curiosity is if knowledge is hoarded by myriad guilds or artificers, or given freely. The Drow or Thayans are an example of the former, whereas many independent Human, Hobgoblin, and Air Genasi merchant states promote shared knowledge to ensure competition and innovation. I suspect this world to be more of the latter, and if so, hope to acquire for our cause a foothold towards some of what they have achieved." He glances at the math Adam is trying to decipher, then shakes his head. "I cannot even fathom what that could be used for in practical application, but certainly it - and this very place - must hint at a shared philosophy of knowledge. This bodes well for us." He continues to slip books into his bag of holding as he speaks, careful he is not observed by Humans as he does.
Once Adam leaves the table that travin is at sharing the proof of the story realm with him and handing him the magazine, Travin wanders back to the architecture section at H17 looking out for anyone there who seems to know what they're looking at.
Perception 14,
If he finds anyone there he approaches and hesitantly asks in a nonchalant low tone, "hey uhh you know this section well? I'm looking for something specific for college, maybe you could help a guy out?" he casts his head back sweeping the long black illusory hair from his dark makeup clad eyes.
"you know of an architect called like Ivo Shandor, I've looked around but can't find his name on anything, it's a bit difficult when the guy you're looking for ain't an author" travin chuckles and scratches the back of his head a little trying not to be too forward.
Attempting to help the Ghostbusters go through the many boxes to find... well, she wasn't exactly sure what they were looking for. Ivo Shandor? Vigo? Strahd? Those were the names she was trying to find anyways.
But a slight pinkish-purple glow caught her attention in the corner of the basement room. Dropping the papers back into the box, she walked over to what appeared to be a sump drain and looked down.
Then backed up so fast, she bumped into a box on the floor and fell on her ass. Looking around wildly, she finds Ralik, "Ralik! It's that pink stuff! Oh wait, you weren't there.." she looks around the basement and sees Delph, "Delph!! That pink stuff, it's it's here... I don't know how, but it's bubbling up.. we gotta get out of here!" She looks desperately at the ghostbusters and points at the bubbling slime that is coming up from the sump drain.
As Shavaris looks at the bubbling ooze in the corner, watching as it splatters up onto the floor, it begins to coagulate into a few loose shapes. Three smaller ooze blobs, like those encountered in the forest, as well as one that is much, much bigger, are suddenly sliding across the basement floor.
While this is happening, a steady stream of body parts begin to force their way up through the drain and start to pile up in the corner, with chains clinking up and out and reaching up toward the ceiling...
An awful smell fills the room.
The first blob slithers toward Shavaris and swipes at her with a gross, gooey arm, but misses. The strange, pulsing purple goo continues to approach her.
The Ghostbusters have a collected freakout as this happens.
"Oh my god!" Stantz shouts. "This is so much worse than the ghost!"

Johnathan contemplates the next steps as he starts to drink heavy gulps from his flask, though not enough to be wasted yet. That’s when he hears a commotion coming from the direction Shavaris was at. Johnathan seems to focus as he approaches the noise and sees the pink stuff that messed him up not too long ago. This again? Where in oblivion did that come from.Johnathan points his hands in the direction that the blobs are at and begins to incant a spell. Circle glyphs form on the ground and turns from his usual blue to a deep dark red. Johnathan’s eyes go cloudy as he continues the incantation. Rise, oh demon. Rise and serve me. RISE BARLGURA! Johnathan sends a shockwave of energy as the ring on the floor is engulfed in flames.
A giant fist burst from the flames as a large ape like entity drags itself out of the circle. Johnathan points to the slime attacking Shavaris. Destroy the pink slime. Leave all humanoids unharmed. He motions towards an area where there appears to be some kind of transaction occurring.
