Grim takes hold of himself and sees the others affected by this spirit and recognizes its hostility. He grabs his cudgel and speaks a word in druidic. As a bonus action, ice solidifies around the head of the cudgel, turning it into almost a mace (Shillelagh). He rushes forward to join Tysris in his attack against the ghost.
Attack: 12 Damage: 12
"Your weapons can't hurt me anymore! I'm beyond flesh and..." before the ghost can finish the sentence Grim Slams at the ghost with his druidic weapon and the ghost felt it to its core. "Noooo what is this? I can't die again!" the ghost shudders and slowly moves towards Sarya. "You! You'll lend me your body and strenght! You are afraid...you are weak!"
Sarya backs away in panic from the horrific ghost, almost stumbling in the snow, though somewhat emboldened again by Dwalt's blessing, turnning and unleashing a blast of red crackling fiery force against the Trex ghost.
Eldritch blast with disadvantage: 7 + Bless: 4 Force: 8
WIS Save to stop being frighteend: 14 + Bless: 1
Sarya's attack pierces through the ghost's body. It seems like it can still move but the a small spark of fire burns whatever kept it alive. The ghost dissapears with a shriek and from Trex's body you'll see the satchel burst in flames showing several dried plants and roots...just briefly as they burst into flames as soon as the ghost's shriek is over.
Sarya drops to her knees in the snow after the quick but horrifying fight, looking at the remnants of Trex the ghost. "Is it over? Is he gone?" She says, still trembling with fear.
Tysris comes down out of his rage, his chest stops glowing. “A ghost! He was taken over by a ghost! I’m glad we got to the bottom of it, that feller never seemed right ta me. Should we head on in to Termalaine? Let’s torch whatever he was carrying, make sure it is ashes, I don’t want that spooky ghost coming back!”

"Well, I haven't ever met a kobold before but Trex certainly seemed different than the other ones." Sarya says and starts torching any remnants of Trex's stuff with blasts laced with fire. "I would like to go back and finish the job somehow. I could talk to the remaining kobolds, perhaps they can still be persuaded to solve this without resorting to violence? Otherwise we still have some kobolds to forcefully evict from that gem mine."
“Agree, we should sort that out I guess before we head back to Termalaine. In case those kobolds get fired up and angry about Trex, can we take a brief rest to recover? That thing scared me good!” Tysris hair in his beard and his temples are starting to show some grey hairs now, his face has an even more weathered appearance.

Coming out of her shock, Sarya notices the change in Tysris and Ghathi. "Oh, yes, I can see that. You both look...um...older."She says, then moving over to the Goliath, putting a comforting hand on his arm. "Perhaps just rest here then for a while before going back to the mine?" She suggest with a weak smile.
“Hmm, I know it’s best not to lie and all, but if we tell the kobolds this story straight out, they aren’t going to believe us or understand, they will attack us. Should we say that Trex was attacked and carried off by a wild animal? What should we tell them?” Tysris scratches his head. “And rest either in the mine or Termalaine, but it is too cold out here for me to relax. Where should we head first?”

"I suggest we go back now to finish this, there were only 6 or so kobolds I think. I could talk to them and tell them a story about Trex departing to serve a great dragon but wanted his followers to cooperate with the townsfolk. Are there any known dragons in the dale that I can use for this ruse?" Sarya says, looking at Dwalt, Grim and Ghathi.
Dwalt shrugs his shoulders. "Kobolds are suspicious an' may not take ta tha explanation but, we signed on ta sort this out so I agree." Dwalt will wait for the party to decide. Once they decide he will turn and head back to the mine on point.

Gathi nods. "Yes, I feel older. Perhaps I should rest." He finds a place to sit down.
"I agree we should try to see if these kobolds might agree to be helpful to the town as Trex had suggested," he says after a few moments. "I do fear without him though they might not be willing."The goliath then holds his head in his hand, thinking on whether he knows any dragon names that might be familiar to those from Icewind Dale. (History: 15)
Sarya sits down by the Goliath, trying to find a comfortable position. "We better rest here for a while then to recuperate our strength and then move back to finish up with the remaining kobolds." She says, looking up at the three dwarves.
(Ok, short rest taken, healed for 9 hp in campaign log.)
Tysris is feeling much better and says “I’m ready ta head back whenever you want. Let’s see if this “partnership” with the kobolds is gonna fly, Sarya you do the talkin.”

"If you are okay with me doing the talking? I ususally do right?"She says to the others with a giggle and a blush. "Yes, I'm ready to go back now."She says, getting her gear, letting Dwalt take point, walking back to the mine, ready to talk some more to the remaining kobolds.
As the others get their gear, Ghathi slowly rises. "I suppose that's enough rest," he says, sounding as though he wishes it might have been longer. He takes a deep breath, slowly gathering his equipment to head out.

you can recall white dragon's names from the dale, first two are no longer alive and come from legends or actual stories told by older people from tribes:
Icasaracht "The Great Wyrm"
Ingeloakastimizilian "Icingdeath"
Tyzar
Gelym
As you return to the mine you'll need to enter and navigate almost to the very end where you found Trex, Kobolds are no longer trying to cut the wooden path found before the first bucket where you descended to the second level.
The kobolds aren't hostile but do ask about Trex and if it will be ok to stay in the mines. Not one kobold is taking the lead, they simply complete each other sentences or plainly interrupts the one talking before manifest their inquiries.

"Trex has a new grand mission to serve a great white wyrm, but he wanted you to stay true to the agreement to cooperate with the local miners. If you are ready to do his will you can send one of you along with us as a spokesperson to deal with the Speaker of the nearby town Termalaine. I'm sure you will reach a mutual beneficial agreement." Sarya says to the kobolds with a friendly smile. If they have a hard time deciding on a spokesperson Sarya will simply point at the closest one, asking them firmly to come along. Assuming they agree she suggests the team immediately heads back to town to meet with Speaker Masthew.
Persuasion if needed to make kobolds cooperate: 18 Another roll if help action is given: 16

Grim considers, "Hmmm, what about the kobolds? With their leader 'dead,' what will they do? Will they still want to work in the mines or what?"
