At seeing Jasper shake his head, Crannoc's sycamore seedling wobbles on his shoulder. he temporarily transfers Temuth'sGuidance to himself and relocates closer to the door behind which voices were heard. Re-summoning his Minor Illusion to make the wall seem further out than it is in the area near that door, Crannoc hides himself there (which Jasper can hide there too in a pinch as he sees Crannoc disappear behind the illusion of the apparent wall.)
Crannoc then listens at the door, trying to make out what the voices are saying. Perception with Guidance: 26 + 1
When done, he taps Jasper on the shoulder and transfers Temuth'sGuidance back to the tabaxi.
Miesha - The guard, now completely confused, begins fumbling through various sentences. "Well, I thought you were challenging me to... And then... This had no relation to..." He eventually gives up and mumbles something before looking to you, waiting for your next action to determine his.
Maggwyn - You investigate the crates and objects at the back of the room. You see many weapons and suits of armor lined up here, a veritable armory. The crates have various items, although the most notable are bottles filled with liquid in one and scrolls in the other. There was clearly an insignia on the side of the crates at one point, but it has been scraped off. You also notice that on one armor stand is an amulet, tucked into the breastplate of the armor it is with. You don't know its significance, if it has any, but the gem in its center looks expensive.
Crannoc - You clearly hear what the voices, two of them, are saying. They are discussing their skepticism with their current employer. "I don't know what he's keeping from us, but he wants too much security for it. I might like to snoop around later and see what it is." The other voice responds. "Do you really want to risk our jobs like that?" "Oh come on. Just a little peak into the basement room or the office?"
Crannoc and Jasper - The guards that were getting ready are now approaching the door. Make a Stealth check (assuming that you're using Crannoc's illusion).

Jasper is about to head downstairs but then sees Crannoc shift his position to listen at the door and waits. He decides to join Crannoc behind the illusion to see what is happening.
"You struck me and you cannot even say why?" Miesha accuses in an almost hysterical tone. She whips around to look at the other two, "You both saw him attack me, yes? You are witnesses?" She moves slowly away from the head guard, backing up towards the others but moving no more than 20 feet away from her opponent, not wanting to break the spell.
Jasper and Crannoc - The three guards you saw getting ready now exit their quarters. Two go down stairs, one walks directly past your illusion, although at one point she stops and listens closely, having heard something on Crannoc’s clothing rustle. She does not manage to spot you yet, but she seems to be on higher alert as she knocks on the door with the talking people behind it. It opens and she gestures for the two guards that were there to go to the quarters as she steps into the room. What you can see is that there is a small room with two chairs and a door on the other side which this individual is now guarding, and doing so somewhat on edge. The two guards that she gestured away go to the quarters and shut the door.
Maggwyn - You duck behind two stacked crates, but you don’t know if the armor is still aware of your location.
Miesha - The head guard looks as confused as the others do, although the two guards at the gate do nod in agreement with what you are saying. The leading guard stumbles forward, but does his best not to strike towards you, though he still appears aggressive to anyone that does not understand what is going on here. Two such individuals arrive in the yard. Having descended the stairs, two guard step out of the doorway to see this strange spectacle in front of them.
"If you weren't trying to use me, exploit me... Why did you strike me when I said no? At the very least explain yourself to me and the others...." Miesha demands, still slowly backing away from the house but careful to never step out of the range of the spell. The goal is to lead him away from the house and her companions as much as possible, to try to make a spectacle of the whole thing to try to keep all eyes on them. Via spell she can only keep him from leaving for whatever is left of it's duration (one minute) but she hopes to make enough of a kerfuffle that she can keep him out her explaining himself for much longer...

(Apologies, I missed the call for pseudo initiative, joining in now.)
"Ma'abet," Kass curses as the armor lunges at her. Not wanting to get killed by this thing and seeing few other alternatives at this moment, she decides to strike back, raising on of her gauntlets and launching three arcane projectiles at the animated armor coming her way.
(Casting magic missile at first level. 9 force damage)
Jasper looks at Crannoc, if possible, and shrugs. He waits for the hallway to clear again and goes back to the door with the arcane lock. He tries to see if he can see under the door, through a keyhole, etc. even just a tiny bit.
Miesha - While your spell has ended and he is no longer compelled to attack you, you still have this entire crowd gathered. He lowers his weapon and continues to mumble nonsensically. The spectacle continues, eventually the other guards press him with questions as well, which drives him to near-shouting volume with his arguments. Make another Performance check (with advantage) to see how long this distraction can last).
Kass - You strike the armor with these projectiles, leaving three dents in its exterior. If its attention wasn't on you before, it would certainly be now. It rushes forward to strike you once with its fist. Additionally, the cavities where eyes would be alight with vibrant red energy that flares and lashes out towards you.
Melee Attack against Kass - Attack: 15 Damage: 10
Eyes Attack against Kass - Attack: 15 Damage: 3
The damage dealt by the eye-flare attack is radiant, and if it hits you must also make a Constitution saving throw (DC 11). On a failure, you are blinded until the end of its next turn. On a success, you have disadvantage on your attacks until the end of its next turn.
Jasper - Peeking through various cracks around the door, you manage to see that there are standing figures inside, but something seems off about them. Make an Insight check.
The chaos is exactly what Miesha stove for. As long as she could keep everyone focused on one another then they wouldn’t notice her friends and their activities inside. MIesha changes her stance and accusations each time the tide turns, doing her best to keep the knot of guards upset and arguing and not caring which side she has to goad on or jump to in order to keep things lively and divisive.
Crannoc and Jasper - Both of you try to glean what is wrong with the figures inside, but Crannoc reaches it first. It comes to you so quickly because after all of your time watching animals move about and behave in different ways you know that standing completely still is not a typical behavior. These figures are entirely motionless, no responses to noise nor idle shifting of weight. It is unnatural.
Miesha - The distraction continues on, and you think you could manage to keep this going for easily another five to ten minutes, especially with the new guards arguing.
Kass and Maggwyn - Neither attack lands, but Kass does still have its attention. Maggwyn, its your turn.
Maggwyn grabs the amulet from the breast plate (Interact with object?) and runs to the animated armor engaged with Kass. She attempts to shove it out of the way so that Kass can shut the door on it and hopefully lock it back away.

((Add 1d4 to Insight check.))
Somewhere, Temuth must surely be looking on with amusement at me, a reckless cub playing at things he doesn't understand...

Insight 1 plus Guidance 1
Crannoc senses the cat-man's frustration. Perhaps he is dreaming of that dangerous drink of his...
He looks through the same cracks that Jasper had, calling Temuth's Guidance on himself and hoping he can discern the apparent figures beyond.
Insight plus Guidance: 24 + 1

Both attacks thankfully miss Kass, as her AC is 16.
