Sparhawk eyes his now ruined warhammer. "I"m not sure this can be repaired either." He looks over the weapon and sees its ruined head. "If you need it, I have Bernards weapon here," he pulls out the morningstar and gives it a few swings. "You are welcome to it if you like." "Ok, lets look over the things in this chamber, make sure our cart and mule are ok, take a short rest break (short rest to heal), and look a bit more in here."
"Once we get back outside, we may have a few scrap pieces of armor that could replace some of the damaged armor we have, but I think we'll need to do some shopping. I"m looking forward to our reward and wanna get rid of that cart and body quickly."
Frangipani’s hunger interferes with her searching, but she finds an old leather bag filled with what looks like uncut gems of various sizes and types. There are 30 pieces total but will need to be appraised before a value can be determined. Nothing that looks like food can be found and most of the mining implements are old, rusted and partly acid eaten.
“Yeah, I like finishing missions and getting paid” Sparhawk looks at the ever wise Bjorn. “Let’s take a peak around that corner and decide next steps.”
[Does Frangi carry a shield? If not, can she carry the torch?]
"Sure." Bjorn lets the pike lead the way, poking at the floor and at any debris in his path as he creeps forward into the moist cavern. "What is this, a jail cell? For jewelers? A jewel cell?"
Vars eyes the morning star, "Nah, that's not really something I can use in tandem with my other sword. So it would be more affective in your hands."
"There's got to be more," Vars responds to Bjorn's comment. "That can't be all there is."
He follows behind Bjorn, eyeing the walls and the floor as he goes, "Not a clue, but if we keep going maybe we'll find out." He looks over his shoulder to say, "But if we want to get rid of the body sooner rather then later, we can always come back to this spot. I'm still for continuing on, just thought I'd throw that out there."
“We are a bit mixed on exploring more or heading back” Sparhawk looks at his friends. “Let take a quick peak down the passage (where pudding lived) and then we’ll head back. We can come back and explore further after we get out of this blood contract”
The corridor goes on for about 80’ curving to the north where it opens up into another large cavern filled with a deep pool of water. The water is clear and fresh.
Frangipani dives into the extremely cold water and looks around. She doesn’t see anything of note except for the fact the bottom is beyond visible range. It is very deep and very dark. Easily more than 100’

Just like home...but with less sharks...she started swimming downwards into the dark....

Frangipani investigated the crates, throwing interesting stuff over her shoulders at the group....food going into her pouches.
Investigation: 4
Frangipani’s hunger interferes with her searching, but she finds an old leather bag filled with what looks like uncut gems of various sizes and types. There are 30 pieces total but will need to be appraised before a value can be determined. Nothing that looks like food can be found and most of the mining implements are old, rusted and partly acid eaten.
The mule and cart are fine.
( you all get the short rest)
"Ok, if everyone is feeling better, lets advance down this corridor (where pudding lived) first and see what else we can find."
Bjorn appraises his magic weapon and decides maybe the thing isn't so bad, after all. He shifts it into a pike, in case of more slimes.
"A bag of jewels has always been good enough for me, but we really haven't seen much of this place. Maybe there's more?"
“Yeah, I like finishing missions and getting paid” Sparhawk looks at the ever wise Bjorn. “Let’s take a peak around that corner and decide next steps.”

Frangipani takes the torch.
“I think we’d be better off bringing Bernard back before we dig in too deep. We can get your weapons fixed and get some spares.”
Sparhawk tosses a loose rock into the water. Assuming nothing happens, "Frangipani, wanna take a peak?"
Also, Divine Sense to see if he detects anything.
The rock hits the water with a splash and quickly sinks out of sight, leaving only ripples on the surface. No evil or undead detected by divine sense
Frangipani dives into the water without a second thought...though she leaves her torch on the shoreline.
Frangipani dives into the extremely cold water and looks around. She doesn’t see anything of note except for the fact the bottom is beyond visible range. It is very deep and very dark. Easily more than 100’
Sparhawk waits on the surface, Javelin drawn, nervous about his friend in the water.
"Be ready for anything my friends."
Vars eyes the water, readying his bow just in case.
Just like home...but with less sharks...she started swimming downwards into the dark....
