“Vars, anything else you haven’t told us about the fellow who sold you that map. Perhaps any information would be of help here. What was the race of the map seller?”
Sparhawk continues to investigate the room for any clues.
"Hum, before we go through that door, as we don't know where it goes, look for a painted or hidden key hole." Sparhawk looks at Frangipani and Lir, I'm wondering about what you think about swimming into the aquarium and swimming up. I have a sneaking suspicion that it will bring you to the lake in the cave." He looks at the group and starts searching. "Thoughts."
"These fish, the water, it's a performance, unnatural."
Lir looks up at the suspended body of water. Then begins to charge.
(Lir intends to wildshape into a reef shark to gobble down the fish - party has an opportunity to tackle him before he makes it).
Lir runs up the dais stairs and leaps into the water, transforming into a reef shark. The myriad of fish scatter and attempt to flee Lirs snapping jaws of death.
Roll your attack, if successful, roll 1d8 to see how many fish you scoop up in your maw
Bite attack: 22
[If successful - 4 , otherwise ignore]
[Moments later after Frangipani enters the water] Any fish left undisturbed, Lir is going to drive them up towards the dark shape, while remaining at a distance - intimidation 9
While his companions are in the water, Sparhawk continues to search for a servants passage (Way for servants to get in and out). "Reginald or Bjorn, try opening that door without going through. Whats on the other side?"

Bonus action drop wildshape.
Lir shark swallowed 6 delicious fish and frightened the others up and out of the immediate vicinity before returning to his natural state
Bjorn creeps over to the exit door and checks the handle. If it'll open, he opens it a couple of inches and squints through the opening. (If there's light on the other side:) 15 (And a second roll for disadvantage if needed:) 14
(Imagine any 3rd person shooter game protagonist hiding behind a corner. That's the move)

Bjorn easily opens the unlocked door and realizes the door leads to a stone wall. At the bottom there is a small, 3” diameter hole that goes back for an unknown distance
As Lir moves upwards 60’ unhindered, the dark areas shape begins to resemble a ship, but it’s hard to tell
"Hmmm..." [imagine Aquaman-style balloons for this - not what Lir was expecting]
He cautiously advances a further 20 ft - then let's loose a moonbeam shot off the 'stern' of what may be a ship.
120 ft / 12
A silvery beam of pale light shines down in a 5-foot-radius, 40-foot-high cylinder centered on a point within range. Until the spell ends, dim light fills the cylinder.

After moving the 20’ closer and with the aid of the new lighting, you can see that it is indeed a wrecked ship. You can see areas where the hull was split, the masts are broken.

Sparhawk looks at the wizard, “perhaps a detect magic on the map and whole area, statues, walls.”
He keeps searching for clues.
Lir pauses in his feast, sees the mass above, and using his Friend of the Sea feature communicates to the remaining fish "Flee".
[Lir is looking to herd them towards the mass above].

(I got a pole if you need it, but try not to break the plane)
Sparhawk watches Bjorn, Frangipani and Lir out of sight in the deep tank.
"Careful my clever friend, I've grown attached to you and wouldn't want you to disappear."
Bjorn easily opens the unlocked door and realizes the door leads to a stone wall. At the bottom there is a small, 3” diameter hole that goes back for an unknown distance

Sparhawk hopes Frangipani and Lir are safe.
“Reginald, can you send your owl through that door and explore?”
"Let's try that pole, in fact." Bjorn tries pushing the ten-foot pole into the small hole.
There is no hall, just the door and the wall directly behind it with the hole down at the bottom, not sure an owl could make it down the hole
After moving the 20’ closer and with the aid of the new lighting, you can see that it is indeed a wrecked ship. You can see areas where the hull was split, the masts are broken.
Bjorn pushes the pole into the hole, almost it’s full length before meeting some squishy resistance
