Thor whimpers, nuzzles your hand, then goes to lay down closer to the table.
After a while, the waitress returns with two piping hot bowls of thick light brown stew and three steaks, two medium rare and one practically raw. She gives you each your bowl or plate then sets a large platter of warm mushrooms and tubers in the center of the table. (She sets the raw steak by Taxidea so he can feed the wolf, which she noticeably avoids.)
After your short rest and repast, eventually, the time comes for you all to meet back up with Svelta at the makeshift church and common house. You are ushered into her presence by one of the sentry guards at the door. She greets you, gathers her things, then leads you down the road and back out of the town.
After walking, climbing, and crawling through tunnels, caves, and caverns filled with stalagmites, stalactites, wondrous fountains and streams, and various types of fungi (some emitting an eerie glow on their own) for what seems like hours or possibly days, taking only a few short rests, Svelta stops you at the entrance to a large cavern. "We must be very careful and quiet from here," she warns you. "We are approaching murgigaten (stone giant) territory. Just beyond this cavern is as far as the hobgoblins have dared to come. Seems they are afraid of the murgigateni."
As you enter the cavern, Orion notices a huge figure sitting in the depths of the shadows, possibly asleep or meditating.

"That's just great," Taxidea whispers, "more things bigger than me. As if you lot weren't enough."

Oddly enough, Orion, as you look at the figure, you notice it is looking at you. It also notices the wolf, something not often seen this deep underground. The figure stands, its head nearly touching the ceiling of the cavern. It raises a large stone club which looks like a broken stalactite.

(Prim observes Svelta's reaction if she's still here. Is she calm or running? If calm, Prim is ready to shout "Stop!" if it looks like the party is about to attack.
If Svelta is afraid, Prim will take cover behind the nearest stalagmite, casts "Blade Ward" and says "Please stop, we don't want to fight"
Svelta is calm. She yells, "Hold, Stone Brother. We come in peace. We do not want to desecrate your holy site, but we must cross this cavern to get to our mutual enemy," she explains with a bow. "You see, these people from the surface here," Svelta gestures to you all, "they have come to rescue some friends and possibly put an end to the hobgoblin invaders."

The giant says something in a language you do not understand, holding out a hand to its side as if to stop someone you do not see. "Go now," it says in a deep, gravelly voice.
"C'mon," Svelta says, signaling to you all to follow her. "Let's get out of here before he changes his mind."
"Stew please." Oskar scans the Cafe and surroundings. He senses something familiar, but it passes.
