"Wow, that fight seemed to last weeks." Crispy jokes, looking at Ashley and Bennett. "And you sir," she looks at Bennett again with a sarcastic sour look. "Shame on you for your potty mouth. There's a lady present." her head jerking in Ashley's direction.

While bundled in blankets and Ashley, she cleans her blades carefully. Don't need no scurvy on these long knives. She doesn't leave Ashley's side until she tells her to, so in the meantime, she provides as much warmth as she can, seeing that she's equally wet, and surveys the topside for things she could help with at a later time. At this point she was eager for land, and was sure the others felt the same way.

Ashley snuggles in closet when she hears Crispy defend the honor of her ears to Bennets Gould language.

(Go ahead and roll for investigation with advantage for searching bodies.)

Bennett chuckles at Ashley and Crispy, "She has probably heard a lot worse, she is ex-military after all."

Bennett is going to go to the cabin door where Ominak resides and knock on it, "Ominak, it's Bennett, I think you and I should chat."

((Oh! I totally forgot, Bennett regains 8 HP from the tortle dying due to the Hexblade's Curse. Bennett is back to full HP))

Ashley softly whispers in Crispy's ear. He's right, but thank you all the same. She then gives her girlfriend a soggy kiss on the cheek.

Crispy snorts in a quick laugh and rolls her eyes at Bennett. She then heard the whisper and received the soggy kiss from Ash, and did so gladly. She looks at Ashley and smiles. A true genuine smile of happiness. Even wet, she was still the most beautiful thing in her world, under the sun, the seawater even made her shine. "I wish we were at the beach." She whispered, squeezing her hand affectionately.

After a moment Ominak answers the door, "And what do you need to talk about?"

Bennett leans in closer to Ominak and crosses his arms, "Nothing. I just wanted to see you because I think you're cute and I think we'd make a great couple." Bennett chuckles at his small joke, "Let me in so we can speak in private, please."

Ominak sighs and opens the door, "Very well. I was just getting this place cleaned up."

As you rummage through the pirates, you find about 20 gold total from trinkets and actual currency.

When Bennett goes in to speak with Ominak, Gasp will listen at the door to see if he can hear any of the conversation.

Crispy watched Bennett talk to Almanac, and saw both of them enter the cabin. Her eyes narrowed a little bit, as Bennett never really truly mentioned what his special secret connection was with the Dragonborn - and she was growing a bit suspicious. She gave Ashley a look of confusion as the activity took place, and as Gasp was approaching the door, trying to listen in. She used her other hand to convey a message to her:

What do you think that's all about? Why the privacy, I wonder? He definitely knows something we don't.

Karra collects the money together and tries to grab any arrows he may. He'll also remove the boots from the pirates, seeing if any are suitable as spare ones for his companions. (I believe he fired four shots, two were not at people on deck, so if using the standard rules get 1 back)

Ashley responds in kind I'm not sure. But there may be magical ways to find out if push comes to shove.

Or maybe I could just push and shove and find out? She jokes. How would you find out magically? My natural curiosity is off the charts as to what he wouldn't be telling us.

There is a spell called Zone of Truth that compels anyone inside it to be truthful.

Karra wanders up to the others with the sets of shoes. "Sound like needing answers, yes?" He says, looking at one set of shoes to that on Ashley's feet. "Maybe try being in other person's shoes." He says, holding them up. He also passes each other party member 3 gp. "Found some money on enemies, hmm. Share out even to you."
