Ol doesn't notice too much of note (and sadly nothing of value), but it is clear that the repairs and reinforcements are newer than the cottage itself. He discerns that Reidoth has likely used this house several times before and that it is a base of sorts and likely a watch post.
"The dragon is young by my estimation. Hm, green in two senses."
"It is unlikely to be reasoned with, greed will not drive it away. I had planned to gather others to drive it off or deal with it but was delayed by some new arrivals. Folk in black masks and cloaks. Here."
Brand folds his arms and looks Reidoth, square in the eyes tyring to size him up. "You say we as in you are going to help fight whoever takes on the Young Dragon?"
"From their attire, and judging from when they arrived, I believe they may be part of one of the many cults that worship dragons. I cannot be sure of this though."
“Hang on before we all dash out - old man you lead the way. And start thinking of a way to separate the followers from their dragon 🐉. But first I venture we head for the tower - a club is no good against dragon scale!”
Insight Check to see if Reidoth is meaning to deceive them.

Brand pulls up a chair and sits with Reidoth.
"Thank you, we are here for the danger actually. Hunting for relics to better prepare us for the assault of the Goblin king."
Brand takes out some rations from his backpack to eat.
"What brings a druid to Thundertree?"
Reidoth looks at Brand when he mentions being here for danger and then shrugs.
"As always, we seek to maintain the balance. Your Goblin King in his castle is a threat to that balance"
"As for Thundertree, a green dragon has moved into the tower since last I was here. Not good"
Ol observes the exchange and takes in the room. He finds it unusually that it is so complete given the destruction of the rest of the village.

Brand whistles leans back in his chair and looks up at the ceiling and thinks for a minute.
"I believe a dragon is beyond our capabilities at the moment. Do you know how old the dragon is?"
"What is your plan for the dragon? Can it be reasoned with?"
"We were told there is a rare axe here, do you know where it is?"
Ol doesn't notice too much of note (and sadly nothing of value), but it is clear that the repairs and reinforcements are newer than the cottage itself. He discerns that Reidoth has likely used this house several times before and that it is a base of sorts and likely a watch post.

"It is unlikely to be reasoned with, greed will not drive it away. I had planned to gather others to drive it off or deal with it but was delayed by some new arrivals. Folk in black masks and cloaks. Here."
He hands the party a map of the area
"The dragon is young and is new to the area. It likely has little attachment and we may be able to drive it off if we injured it enough"
"As for the axe, I know not. The tower was the seat of power. There, or where the cloaked lot are, are the most likely."
Brand folds his arms and looks Reidoth, square in the eyes tyring to size him up. "You say we as in you are going to help fight whoever takes on the Young Dragon?"
"Are you strong?"
"Yes, this will work better together. Driving off the dragon will help preserve the balance."
"I am old. The strength of my youth has left me. My magic has grown stronger over the years though."
Brand smirks, "Well Ol and Lucy what how about me become dragon scarers instead of dragons slayers?"
Brand looks at Ol and Lucius excited at the prospect of a real challenge and hoping they will agree.
"But before we chase dragons, how about we see about the cloaks and mask people? Do you know anything about them Reidoth?"
Agreed with a foe like that it would be a fools errand to not despatch the weaker of the two first
Reidoth seems heartened by their keenness.
"From their attire, and judging from when they arrived, I believe they may be part of one of the many cults that worship dragons. I cannot be sure of this though."
Brand excitedly gets up after finishing his mean and says "Onward!"
“Hang on before we all dash out - old man you lead the way. And start thinking of a way to separate the followers from their dragon 🐉. But first I venture we head for the tower - a club is no good against dragon scale!”
Brand raises an eyebrow, "Dragon's in the tower Ol, the cloaks are in the bottom right of the map."
