Lebenha raises her head from her hands and looks towards the dwarf and the half-orc.
" I guess that he really knows how to make friends " she says refering to Thomas. " I don't want to see it. If you'll excuse me..." she stands and leaves the place with just an apple for breakfast.

Placing down the forkful of food he had been about to eat Hrain sighs quietly to himself and stands, leaving his helm on the table he moves purposefully towards the table, resplendent in gold and steel his earrings glittering in the morning light and the gold at his throat flashing like fire, his appearance is every inch that of a worshiper of Sune, a reminder to the other Shepherds that he rules here by merit not just through strength of arms but also by the strength of his faith.
"I have one simple question for you" he says to the half orc "who commands here?"
Closing the distance to the half-orc he adds "Think your answer through carefully, my guests are just that, and any guest I invite into my tower has my protection and will be treated with respect. If you have a grievance with me, or a decision I have made, tell it to my face, but if you choose the path of a coward and attempt to diminish me through this insult to a fellow Shepherd that I have invited here then you will not need to sheathe that sword just yet as you will certainly have need of it."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
It was the dwarf's shout that caused Haldur to whip his head around, and at the sight of the half-orc with drawn steel staring down Thomas, the young warrior's face turned dark and angry. He let his spoon clatter to the table top and he slowly reached for his halberd that rested nearby. Hrain had quickly responded with the power and authority that suited the young paladin so well, but the sellsword was not going to let his allies face these unpredictable bastards without his support. Without turning his face from the confrontation, Haldur spoke in a low and distracted voice to the rest of his companions at the table.
"Excuse me, please. Enjoy your breakfasts..." He said, voice trailing off.
With that, the sellsword deliberately made a show of standing from his table, rising to his full height and squaring his broad shoulders so that the leather straps of his hauberk creaked and the jingle of his chainmail could be unmistakably heard. He stalked over to the aggressor's table and stood a bit behind Thomas with his halberd held upright at his side, making it very clear that he both literally and figuratively had the cleric's back. The mercenary glowered menacingly at the half-orc and the dwarf, and there was a dangerous glint in the young sellsword's eyes that morning. Echos of the violence from the previous day could be discerned on his visage, and the faintest ghost of a small, predatory smile could be seen tugging at the corners of Haldur's mouth. It was an ominous expression, one that hopefully conveyed how bad an idea this was to the dwarf and half-orc.
Intimidation Roll, trying to get the two men to stand down:6
"Captain of course! You've let them in, you've removed their chains! What purpose do any of us serve now," the dwarf exclaims with anger in his tone looking at Hrian. "We told him to move on. Guest or no. He made his choice to offend us," the dwarf replies as the half-orc grimaces but says nothing. "I serve Sune and the tenants of my faith tell me to take pride in myself and this man...this Mystrian has injured it," he adds in a growl at Thomas.
At that the three humans stand up as Peregrine rushes in just as Haldur.
"Enough! All of you!" She bellows then nods to Hrain. "Don't you get it? ALL of us will die here unless we work together. They came here to kill everyone regardless of faith or practiced art! They come to kill ALL who oppose them," she adds fist clenched! Looking to Hrain. "The men are.... tired Sir. I...I'm sorry for any offence caused but it will NOT happen again," she adds glaring at the men in question and all seem to shrink away at her withering glare! "Please sir the garrison is secure for now, from within and without," she adds giving Hrain a firm nod as the men begin to follow her as she backs away keeping eye contact with Hrain as if awaiting his agreement or response.
Lebenha's intentions, although noble, are not wanted by most of the injured remaining on bed rest. Bhalla reassures them that Leb is there to give them aid but most Sunites are wary of her because she's an elf as well as a Caster.
"Use your magic sparingly my dear. You can not wipe away 50 years of mistrust as easily as I've removed those manacles," Bhalla explains her tone and expression soft yet full of concern. "Maybe there's another task better suited for your talents," she says then advises Leb to find Hrain for a task guarding the garrison.
OOC: Fran did you miss this?

"I am no warriror Bhalla, and he is already resting. Not to worry I will be more.. discrete " from that point on Lebenha takes the sheets out of the room and goes to the laundry with them, there she uses Prestidigitation to clean them and go back.
After all the laundry is done and if she is no longer needed she will retire to someplace quiet, preferibly at the outside on the walls or with a window and watch the sunrise while touching her forearms while looking away thinking.
Thomas responds to the dwarf's excuse-making with anger of his own.
"If injured pride is sufficient cause to turn on your allies in the middle of a siege, then you sir, are a sorry excuse for a soldier."

"Hold, all of you" Hrain looks at all of the men including Haldur and Thomas "Tempers run high, mine no less than yours, these are the most trying of times." Looking at the dwarf the Captain says "You should take pride in yourself, Sune recognises your valour, and grants you her blessing, we must have faith as brothers and sisters together in this. I understand your concerns, I would have repeated them myself a mere two days ago but you must have seen the corpses, the indiscriminate killing of Shepherds and casters alike, especially the non-humans who seemed resistant to possession. The people that did that, they are our enemies and I would gladly stand side by side with the brave souls here to fight against them rather than harbour fears and grievances, whilst the world burns around us."
"I am your Captain, it is a honour to be so, and I thank the Lady Firehair for it daily, but now when our faith is tested and our bonds of comradeship strained I know I will all the more proud when I see you fight in the name of Sune against the evil that once again threatens our world. Because if she has returned then this is war, and it will not be quick and it will not be easy but you will all stand and together we will succeed.
I must take time to plan, to work on how we can overturn this situation and for now I need you to follow the duties you have been given by Peregrine, but when the time comes for battle I will be by your side and together we will triumph."
Turning back to the party he finishes by saying "Take more food if you wish and then follow me, I would have your thoughts, I would like to use my quarters as a place to converse. Peregrine when you are free I would value your company as well."

Blue sparks (Prestidigitation) eminate from her face and hair as she gives the half-orc a killing glance and strides accros the room to follow the others. She stops next to Lebenha. Haldur favored the dwarf and half-orc with one last wolfish grin before the two turn away, and even gave a quick wink to punctuate his dark amusement. It was strange how the young mercenary could vacillate so swiftly between being mildly sheepish and awkward in mundane social interactions, and then ferociously confident and in the face of physical strife. Never the less, Haldur watched as the two truculent Shepherds went their way, then returned to his neglected plate. He quickly ate a couple bites of a sausage, washed it down with a healthy dose of water, and hurried to follow after Hrain as the Captain made his way toward their meeting destination.
Lyra takes a deep breath. "I do realize that, but at the moment i'd prefer taking on that dragon and its rider alone over seeing a single of those faces again. We're supposed to show that we are trustworthy? How about those pathetic figures start treating us as equal, living beings first." and she dashes off.
