Alright as the goblin moves away of the radius of the Light spell, you move out of combat situation. Each of you gains 50 XP for repelling the Goblins and the Wolves.
As the tension fades, so does the noise from deeper part of the cave. So. How do you like to proceed?

"Stop it you idiot, they have hostages. If we dont comply then the blood of innocents will be on your head, and if you get needless people killed due to you not valuing their lives we all are going to have problems. Understand that? We already lost one friend due to attempted fear mongering, it wont be more."
Aeros will put away his bow, but don his shield as a sign of DEFENSIVE compliance.
"Read a situation before acting, they have the upper hand in this negotiation. If you were him in this situation and had someone threaten you. Would you hesitate to slaughter the hostages? We need to see if he can be reasoned with or if we can do something to limit the death of others. Maybe challage him to honor bound combat, winner controlls the goblin tribe. Or trade one of our lives for the freedom of the hostages. Maybe he is just looking for a ransom, in which we could pay and then discuss how to proceed with neutralization after risk has been reduced."
Ooc: murderhobos get out. Ethical Barbarian is here!
"That's all well and good, but I will not be cowed by the paltry threats of some idiot goblin. In these sorts of circumstances, you need to show them who's boss."
Vortin summons a lazy nimbus of frost in one hand.
"Your threats mean nothing to us. You'll take us to your boss, or else."

"Well, seems like a clear cut situation. I will go and talk to them and see what I can see while I'm there. If anyone else comes back than me then feel free to kill everyone or at least the two outside."
And he calls out, "GORRUNK, I AM COMING TO COME INSIDE TO MEET YOU."
He takes a couple of steps forward, waits a moment to see if those were his last and then calls out, "PLEASE DON'T ATTACK!"
And he well walk to where he last saw Gorrunk disappear to. The main goal is to assess the situation, count the friendlies and hostiles and if possibly then come to some kind of understanding on what's been going on lately.
Alright, Chenna follows the goblin while keeping safe range. They reach an empty room who looked like a storage for various stuff the goblins has gathered such as food and leathers. The goblin walks toward a wall on the eastern side of the room where a big leather carpet is hanged on the wall and lifted it; a 5 feet tall passageway was hidden behind it. As Chenna follows the goblin inside, they shortly arrive in a large chamber with a huge hole as its ceiling, shining afternoon light into the dark cave.
At the end of the room, iron cages lines up the wall, where 5 adult human prisoners locked inside. Besides it, two wounded goblin sats on the floor wounded. In the center of the room, beneath the afternoon light, stood a hulking, 7 feet tall, furry goblinoid carrying a large, crude warhammer. The goblin archer who guides Chenna slowly walks to his side while still aiming at Chenna, along with another goblin archer. Besides them, a goblin is pointing a crude iron dagger to the neck of a tied, frightened human children. You can hear one of the prisoner is currently crying.
The bugbear addresses you "Insolent adventurers! What business do you have here?!"
While Chenna is inside making negotiations with the bugbear, Waft starts preparing a small campfire to roast the wolf meat while making small talk with the rest of his comrades.
"Don't want to waste fresh meat in this swampy location. Unless you guys have taste for giant spiders and whatnot."

The newly formed band of adventurer went to investigate the Skull Marsh, a marshland just half a day east from Phlan, to avoid the eyes of the local authority for awhile, and to look for the whereabouts of a missing Zhentarim agent. In the marsh, they found a destroyed wagon of a farmer family, who are kidnapped by a goblin tribe who currently lurks in a cave that was once a lair for a young black dragon. After manages to "chat" with two goblin scout, they found out that the goblinoids are scavenging the cave as a deal they make with a tattooed elven man, who the party met the night before. After a short skirmish in the cave, the goblin threatens the hostages and asks to parley, and Chenna the Paladin steps forward alone.
In the meantime, the rest of the party is resting in the cave mouth......when a figure dashes in hurriedly.

While Waft attempts to skin the dead wolf to fashion a leather cape later this evening, he asks the rest of the group.
"We could take a short rest if you want and then resume our search immediately."
== CHENNA ==
Chenna yells out, "WE ARE NOT HERE TO HURT OR KILL YOU! WE SPOKE WITH ..." and quietly "what were their names?".
"WE SPOKE WITH TWO OF YOUR PEOPLE OUTSIDE, THEY ARE ALIVE AND WELL"
"PLEASE LETS TALK ABOUT THIS"
"Yup, they'll totally believe that."
Waft gives his sarcastic remark while getting bloodied from carving the pelt off the wolf's carcass.

As you take a breath for few minutes, you may spend your hit dices if you'd like (you also get the benefit of a short rest).
Chenna, please make a persuasion check.

After few seconds, a goblin appears near the light's edge while wielding a bow directed at Chenna, its expression serious.
"Gorrunk orders human. Meet Gorrunk inside. Humans don't meet Gorrunk, little humans die"
Aeros pipes up, " sharp tooth and short foot, those are the gobo's names"
“No, little goblin. You’ve got it wrong. Gorrunk meet humans, or Gorrunk dies.”

"Remember the leader isnt a goblin, and hes just the messenger. He isnt the one threatening you"
"I know that. The goblin will be even more scared if he thinks we could even take on his boss."

Waft keeps the wolf pelt on his backpack before giving his opinion on the matter to Vortrin.
"We're already in trouble with the law on what happened to the barn. Let's not add more to that by deliberately taunting them to kill their hostages."

The goblin messenger does not react to the name of Sharptooth and Shortfoot, but he does shiver abit hearing Vortrin's threat.
"Go-gorrunk says - Business" said the goblin as he start to slooowly tried to backs away to darkness while still aiming the bow at Chenna.
